You should start a mentor program. It would help a lot of people. As someone who has isolated for a good part of ten years, part of what caused me to isolate was the realization that you spoke of in this video. However after A LOT of self reflection, eventually I realized that I use to be one of those people for about 3 decades of my life. Once I realized that, I could see my own wounds clearly. When I could see my own inner wounds clearly, it caused me to understand the behaviors of others and see beyond ego and discover the root of their pain which they used to hurt me. I know how I have felt in life and when people take advantage of me, I know the pain that they unknowingly allow to control them. It's like Plato's cave. I know the things I have experienced in life can not be healed, however that does not stop me from attempting to inspire others to heal themselves. The worse a persons behavior is helps me realize the root. I try to be for them what I would of wanted someone to be for me when trapped in my own deepest level of darkness. Often times you are unaware you are even there. Some times it's is direct and works, other times it is simply planting a seed I may never get to witness grow. I will never give up on those types of people because I know how it felt when everyone gave up on me. With that being said, many people hit rock bottom and remain blind so when I try to help, I have learned to do so without expectation. Those whom I have helped in life are the fuel who keep me going. I find purpose in them. I find healing in them when I do see them have better lives by inspiring self ownership and virtue. You have to be able to recognize when someone is beyond help or does not want it to protect your own peace, otherwise you limit your ability to help others who's lives you can transform. Helping those closest to you can be impossible. I have found the most success in utter strangers. I may not experience the benefits of that, but the people around them will. I appreciate your depth and look forward to seeing more videos from you like this one.
