Dax Robotics just unveiled Qiji T1000 — a ton-class robot horse built to carry 1,000 kg / 2,205 lb. 🐎🤖 Dax calls it the world’s first ton-class heavy-load robot horse. Most robotics teams can make a robot move… very few can make it work every day in the real world! @roboforce_inc was just featured in Jensen Huang’s GTC keynote, not for a demo but for a robot they claim is already working in the field. Their system, TITAN, is built for industrial environments: ✅ 40 kg dual-arm payload ✅ millimeter-level precision ✅ 8 hours runtime ✅ early pilots in energy, logistics, and manufacturing They call it Physical AI: The focus is on getting robots to do the kind of labor that still depends on people: repetitive, risky, and physical. IMO, what stands out isn’t the specs. It’s the claim of 11,000 robot orders❗️ If even a fraction of that turns into real deployments, it would make RoboForce one of the most widely scaled robot platforms in the world!!?? The open question is whether this shift from prototype to production is real or just the next phase of robotics storytelling. It looks very promising to me. It’s also interesting how their founder openly pushes back against the humanoid trend, arguing for wheels over legs in real industrial settings. Elon Musk just put a number on the flaw at the center of Nvidia’s empire. Wall Street has not done the math yet. Nvidia’s Blackwell is the most sought-after silicon on Earth. Every AI lab wants it. Every sovereign nation is bidding for it. Blackwell runs every model, for every company, in every data center on the planet. That universality built the empire. It is also the fracture point. Musk: “We believe the AI5 chip will be about a third of the power of an Nvidia Blackwell for roughly comparable performance. And much less than 10% of the cost.” One-third the power. Comparable performance. Less than ten percent of the cost. Musk: “This is a chip that is very much optimized for the Tesla AI software stack. It’s not meant to be a general purpose chip.” Nvidia builds silicon that serves a million different customers. Every transistor spent on universal compatibility is a transistor not dedicated to one task. Tesla is building silicon for exactly one customer. Itself. When you strip away every function you will never call, you do not get a lesser chip. You get a weapon. Here is what the market refuses to see. Data centers drink unlimited power from the grid. Robots run on batteries. Musk: “In order to have a functional robot, you have to have a great AI chip. And it needs to be an inexpensive chip and it needs to be very power efficient.” You cannot put a Blackwell inside a walking machine. It would drain the battery before it crossed the room. The entire AI revolution lives inside air-conditioned buildings bolted to the electrical grid. Musk is not competing for that market. He is engineering the silicon that survives outside of it. One-third the power is not a spec sheet footnote. It is the physics threshold that severs intelligence from the wall socket. Without that number, every robot on Earth stays tethered. With it, the algorithm walks. Less than ten percent of the cost is not a pricing strategy. It is the line where a machine brain stops being a capital expenditure and becomes a commodity component. When the chip inside a humanoid costs less than the motors in its legs, you do not manufacture hundreds of robots. You manufacture millions. OFFICIAL: Origins Robot Endgame Boss Fight Around 10-15 minutes into the match, you'll get a notification that either the Z-Rex or Colossus is spawning. For the Colossus, you have to first kill a certain amount of enemies around a portal before it will spawn. Once the Colossus has spawned, you have to shoot either one of its feet until it breaks. Let it step on you and you'll go into it just like in Origins. While in the core, there'll be a plate that glows and pulsates when you stand on it. After awhile, it'll shoot out a pulse that will turn on several red lights around the core. You have to shoot them all in a extremely small time frame. If done right, the cores shield will turn off and you can damage it. This needs to be repeated again for a total of two times. Afterwards, you'll get an exotic skill and have the opportunity to either leave the robot or exfil. If you exfil, you get sent to a special room and get a special exfil and game over cutscene.

this is the world's first ever humanoid robot that will summit Mt. Everest it's named Pemba, and two days ago it reached the top of Chimborazo, a 20,000-foot peak in Ecuador, completely on its own (no remote or operator). and the robot itself is nothing special. Pemba is a Unitree G1, the same ~$14k robot anyone can buy online right now. the guy behind it, Pablo Berlanga, is doing this to send robots into the places that kill people. think about how you'd check on a melting glacier or a deadly crevasse out in the middle of nowhere today. you either send a person who might not come back, or you skip it and learn nothing. so Berlanga wants a robot that walks in on its own, carries a few pounds of gear, and brings back footage from places no human can safely reach. i think eventually they'll even be used for robot rescue missions to reach people stranded in disasters and dangerous situations from here, the plan for Pemba is Mauna Kea in Hawaii, then Everest. Everest is the tricky one. the team wanted to send Pemba up this spring to start hauling trash off the mountain and tracking its glaciers (something Nepal genuinely needs help with) but the Nepalese government told them to wait. there's no law in Nepal for a climber that isn't human, so the rules have to get written before a robot can set foot on the mountain. kind of incredible that the machine is ready for Everest a full year before anyone's decided whether it's allowed to be up there

Pemba is a Unitree G1, the same ~$14k robot anyone can buy online right now. the guy behind it, Pablo Berlanga, is doing this to send robots into the places that kill people. think about how you'd check on a melting glacier or a deadly crevasse out in the middle of nowhere today. you either send a person who might not come back, or you skip it and learn nothing. so Berlanga wants a robot that walks in on its own, carries a few pounds of gear, and brings back footage from places no human can safely reach. i think eventually they'll even be used for robot rescue missions to reach people stranded in disasters and dangerous situations from here, the plan for Pemba is Mauna Kea in Hawaii, then Everest. Everest is the tricky one. the team wanted to send Pemba up this spring to start hauling trash off the mountain and tracking its glaciers (something Nepal genuinely needs help with) but the Nepalese government told them to wait. there's no law in Nepal for a climber that isn't human, so the rules have to get written before a robot can set foot on the mountain. kind of incredible that the machine is ready for Everest a full year before anyone's decided whether it's allowed to be up there
