How were home prices and mortgage interest rates 4 years ago? Houses were $600,000 with 3% rates 4 years ago and are $1,000,000 today with 7.5% rates. Groceries 4 years ago were affordable and today they’re laughably high cost. Everyone knows they’re worse off today — other than social media “influencers” aka grifters.

By every single metric, yes, the Trump years were better. I could spend $100 at the grocery store and get more than 1 bag. Tickets to Vegas were about $50 cheaper, and going out to dinner was way less expensive. It’s like $50 for McDonalds, even the cheap food is expensive now.
