Kimi K3's weights are free to download. Almost nobody on earth can actually run them. 2.8 trillion parameters. The download is the easy part. Open weights used to mean you could self-host. At this scale it means you can read the file. So people download it and call the API anyway. Daily revenue up at least 6x since launch. Openness stopped being the opposite of a business model. It became the top of the funnel. The license says the quiet part. Past $20M in revenue you negotiate a contract. Past 100M users you display their name. Free for the developer. A contract for anyone the model actually earns from. And publishing the weights kills the argument before it starts. Nobody can claim the benchmarks were cooked. Independent indexes put K3 top three overall and first in frontend coding, with no one taking Moonshot's word for it. That's the whole trade. Give away the artifact, keep the infrastructure, get the audit for free. Check the last open model you praised. Ask whether you could serve it, or only download it.

PulseX is so cool! For those of you that didn't know. PulseX is one of the most decentralized DEXs in existence. You can literally run it locally on your own machine and it's so simple to set up. Running it on your own machine makes it faster, more secure, safer, more censorship resistant and protects your privacy. There's no reason you should be using the web version when you have the desktop version available. I made a short video showing you how to download it. ✨ To inspire more people to go build something now that we have AI to help us (especially non-tech people, cause I still know so many who are scared of building something): I added a [ BUILD IT ] button to It's like a mini-Lovable/Replit/v0: Any idea you see you like, you can click [ BUILD IT ], and it will use Opus 4.6 to build a landing page for it And then you can download the code it generated It's not a full startup of course, but a nice preview of what it can be, to give you an idea and inspire you to build it out further The code is live streamed also so you can see it being built 😊 Ironically this itself took me 1 hour to build with AI too Completely free and I pay for the tokens (please don't abuse it :D)

This is very concerning - New key making machines scan your keys digitally and create a profile - You can opt to have it save your key so you can access it again in the future - Then you pay for your key with your credit card - This means this system has a virtual copy of your key and your credit card information, meaning they can get your address If a data leak or bad actors were involved it would be incredibly easy for someone to get your address, make a key and do whatever they’re going to do Not all technology is progress, some is dangerous
