The Onion Theory of Risk by Marc Andreessen: "I think the single biggest thing entrepreneurs are missing, both on fundraising and how they run their companies, is the relationship between risk and cash. The relationship between risk and raising cash, and then the relationship between risk and spending cash. So I've always been a fan of something that Andy Ratcliffe taught me years ago, which he called the onion theory of risk. Um, which basically is, you can think about a startup like on day one, um, as having every conceivable kind of risk, right? And you can basically just make a list of the risks. And so you've got, you know, founding team risk. You know, do the founders, are the founders gonna be able to work together? Do you have the right founders? You're gonna have product risk. You know, can you build a product? You'll have technical risk, right? Which is maybe you need a machine learning breakthrough or something to make it work. Are you gonna be able to do that? Um, you'll have, you know, launch risk. Will the launch go well? You'll have, you know, market acceptance risk. You'll have revenue risk. A big risk you get into in a lot of businesses that have a sales force is, can you actually sell the product for enough money to actually pay for the cost of sale? So you have the cost of sale risk. If you're a consumer product, you'll have a viral growth risk. Well, you get the thing of viral growth. And so, a startup at the very beginning is basically just this long list of risks. And then the way that I always think about running a startup is also the way I think about raising money, which is it's a process of peeling away layers of risk as you go. And so you raise seed money in order to peel away the first two or three risks. The founding team risk, the product risk, and maybe the initial launch risk. You raise the A round to peel away the next level of product risk. Maybe you peel away some recruiting risk because you get your full engineering team built. Maybe you peel away some customer risk because you get your first five beta customers. And so basically the way to think about it is you're peeling away risk as you go. You're peeling away risk by achieving milestones. And then as you achieve milestones, you're both making progress in your business, and you're justifying raising more capital. And so you come in, and you pitch somebody like us, and you say you're raising a B round. The best way to do that with us is you say, okay, I raised a seed round, I achieved these milestones, I eliminated these risks. I raised the A round, I achieved these milestones, and I eliminated these risks. Now I'm gonna raise a B round. Here are my milestones, here are my risks. And then by the time I go to raise a seed round, here's the state that I'll be in. And then you calibrate the amount of money that you raise to spend to the risks that you're pulling out of the business. And I go through all this, in a sense this sounds kind of obvious, but I go through all this because it's a systematic way to think about how the money gets raised and deployed. As compared to so much of what's happening, especially these days, which is just, my God, let me go raise as much money as I can. Let me go build the fancy offices, let me go hire as many people as I can, and just kind of hope for the best."

Today, after Canada's historic win and halfway through the World Cup, I'm proud to be joined by our Police Chief Steve Rai, Fire Chief Karen Fry, and City Manager Donny van Dyk for one simple reason: to say thank you for the way you've celebrated throughout the entire World Cup so far, and especially after Canada's historic win on Sunday. Over the past several weeks, Vancouver has welcomed the world. Our streets have been full of families, fans, visitors, and local businesses enjoying an incredible World Cup. What has stood out most isn't just the excitement—it's the way people have looked out for one another and celebrated safely. We've seen minimal police incidents throughout the World Cup, and I want to sincerely thank everyone for making that possible. To everyone who has come downtown, visited Fan Fest, and other public viewing areas—thank you for keeping things respectful. To the Vancouver Police Department, Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, City staff, volunteers, event organizers, businesses, and everyone working behind the scenes – thank you for making this World Cup such a safe, exciting, and memorable event. As we head into the second half of the World Cup, I'm excited for us all to keep this going. Canada has made it to the round of 16, so let's keep cheering them on in the same safe way we've celebrated throughout this tournament. We’re all here today to simply say thank you, Vancouver. And if you see a city worker cleaning streets or a police officer and firefighter keeping things safe, reach out to them and say thank you. Let’s keep this going, Go Canada Go.

When I first shared Scene Anatomy, a lot of people thought it was a storyboard or a set of keyframes. When I explained that the environment, wardrobe, and camera were generated directly by the model, and that I only supplied the character face while driving the rest through a prompt, people were immediately skeptical. People hear the word "prompt" and cringe. Haha. Maybe they expect a complex setup with Blender blockouts and piles of image references. But if you can build a moving cinematic world starting purely from text, why add extra hurdles before generating? You don't need complicated character sheets and location decks just to start expressing yourself through video. That is why I'm introducing Timeline Anatomy, supported by the new SceneFlow v2.3.0 update. This isn't about convincing you to use Auteur Script. Whatever workflow/prompting helps you build a solid mental model and develop intuition, go for it. Timeline Anatomy isn't meant to convince anyone to use Auteur Script. Whatever workflow works for you, as long as it helps you build a solid mental model and develop intuition with the AI, go for it. I designed Timeline Anatomy mainly for aspiring creators jumping into AI filmmaking who might feel overwhelmed about where to even start. It helps show how much you can do with just text, and why I always lean towards writing the detailed script first and jumping straight to video generation, skipping asset gen entirely. In this Timeline Anatomy view, you can watch each sub-states in the EXECUTION block "fire" and see how the Seedance model visualizes it beat by beat. Beyond seeing the pacing of the script, it lets you study the model's quirks, mistakes, and interpretations. Of course, every generation will look a bit different. But when you have a clear mental ledger comparing what you wrote to what came out, you build genuine intuition. You learn how to stay flexible and tweak your writing to hit your creative goal. Some might say this is only useful for short social media clips, but let's be real: for most creators, compute and budget are huge bottlenecks. Jumping straight into a 5 or 10 minute short film right away is a very high bar unless you already come from a professional filmmaking background. Almost everyone starts with 5 to 15 second clips. Starting script-first lets you get a real taste of directing without burning through your limited resources. Every tool I build is just meant to help aspiring creators start experimenting. That is why I put together ShotBase, PromptLab, SceneFlow, Scene Anatomy, and the open Auteur Script research notes, so you can see what I've discovered through my own trial and error (and yes, I made up plenty of my own terms along the way, so check the glossary haha). The full Auteur Script for Vector Field is now available in SceneFlow under LIBRARY > AI SCENE > VECTOR FIELD. Hope it's useful. 🫡 Vector Field Script:

🚨MUST WATCH: Charlie Kirk SHOT FROM THE TRAP DOOR UNDER THE TENT? The Chilling On-Site Footage You NEED to See! What if the bullet that struck Charlie Kirk didn't come from the obvious direction—but from a secret crawlspace lurking right beneath his feet on stage? Fresh footage from investigator Ian Carroll, shot inside the UVU venue's crawl space just days after the hit during open-trap-door maintenance, nukes this theory to oblivion. One hatch? Tiny plumbing access for the water feature—zero room for a human assassin to squeeze in. The second spot? Marginally bigger, sure someone could fit in it, but it dead-ends way short of Kirk's exact seating position onstage. And even in wild "what if" mode, picture this: You'd need X-ray vision to aim through the ground (impossible), or crack the hatch wide open mid-event (suicide mission) which doesn't aalign with the trajectory reported by the autopsy. Oh, the math? Official reports claim a C2 vertebra strike at a razor-sharp 38° upward angle—but bullets don't defy physics like Hollywood ricochets. No 170° deflection miracle here; a .30-06 round smashes bone, mushrooms on impact, and drops dead—zero velocity left to explode out the neck. (Pro tip: Real ballistics wrap forward on glancing hits, not boomerang back like a pinball. Movies lied to us all.) So, if not from below, who's really pulling the strings on Kirk's takedown? Drop your hottest theories below—RT if you're done with basement boogeymen! I'll drop the FULL Video link in the comments below, Go Follow Valhalla VFT and Ian Carroll for more great insights.

🚨TPUSA'S DIRTY TACTICS EXPOSED: TPUSA Sending CEASE & DESIST Letters to Small CREATORS to Shut Us Up – But It WON'T WORK! 😡🔥 Turning Point USA is going FULL AUTHORITARIAN MODE! They've started firing off cease and desist letters to tiny YouTube channels like WolvesAndFinance , threatening defamation lawsuits just for speaking the TRUTH about their shady operations. Wolves got one this week, and it's a blatant intimidation play – picking on small creators who they think can't fight back. Newsflash: We're NOT backing down! In my latest video breakdown, we dive deep: TPUSA claims they're all about "the truth and accurate public record," but they're more obsessed with SILENCING critics than seeking REAL justice for Charlie Kirk. This is a HORRIBLE look – prioritizing lawsuits over exposing corruption? What happened to free speech and America First? It's gonna BACKFIRE BIG TIME, Streisand Effect style – the more they try to bury this, the LOUDER it gets! And get this: If these clowns actually SUE one of us, it opens the floodgates to DISCOVERY. All their hidden dirty laundry? Finances, kickbacks, real estate deals funded by YOUR donations – it'll ALL come out! They're fighting tooth and nail to keep it buried, but a lawsuit would force transparency. Dumb move, TPUSA – you're about to expose YOURSELVES! Stand with us! If you know a solid Arizona defamation lawyer, hit up WolvesAndFinance via his website (wolvesandfinance{dot}tcom). Support his channel, join his memberships, or donate – let's rally behind the truth-tellers! Watch my FULL VIDEO breakdown NOW, Tag Candace Owens and SHARE this to blow it up! Also be sure to FOLLOW WolvesAndFinance and watch his FULL video linked in the comments below.

This was Alba’s song. I used to play it to her and sing it when out looking at the sunrises and sunsets. I’ve no idea how it happened or where it come from but the best part is when you read the lyrics. I’d love people to play it on full blast and think of her happy wagging tail. The tail never stopped even this morning. Only happy thoughts. Hold your dogs tight. Go on the extra walk. Watch the sunset this weekend 💜 How confusing, it must be because I love you Che confusione, sarà perché ti amo It's an emotion that grows little by little È un'emozione che cresce piano piano Hold me tight and stay closer to me Stringimi forte e stammi più vicino If I feel good about it, it will be because I love you Se ci sto bene, sarà perché ti amo I sing to the rhythm of your sweet breath Io canto al ritmo del dolce tuo respiro It's spring, it must be because I love you È primavera, sarà perché ti amo A star falls, but tell me where we are Cade una stella, ma dimmi dove siamo What do you care, it must be because I love you Che te ne frega, sarà perché ti amo And it flies, it flies, you know E vola, vola, si sa Higher and higher we go Sempre più in alto si va And fly, fly with me E vola, vola con me The world is crazy because Il mondo è matto perché And if love isn't there E se l'amore non c'è Just one song is enough Basta una sola canzone To make confusion outside and inside you Per far confusione fuori e dentro di te And fly, fly, off we go E vola, vola, si va Higher and higher we go Sempre più in alto si va And fly, fly with me E vola, vola con me

MUST WATCH 🔴🔴 Islamic regime mouthpiece Mohammad Marandi threatens total war against the U.S., vows full scale retaliation over even a “token strike,” warns of shutting the Strait of Hormuz, sinking commercial ships, destroying oil and gas infrastructure, targeting trillions of dollars in non military U.S. assets, collapsing Gulf monarchies within hours, igniting chaos across West Asia and the Caucasus, and triggering a global economic crash Mohammad Marandi: “Yes, that is something that the Americans have put to the Iranians, that we will carry out some token strike and you can carry out some token strike. The Iranians said no. The Iranians have responded to the Americans that even a token strike will be met with full force, and the reason is twofold. One is that even a token strike is an act of war. But more importantly, I think, is the fact that the Iranians recognize that if the United States is allowed to carry out some limited strike, that only opens the door for future strikes. Four months down the road, some false flag operation will be carried out somewhere in Europe, somewhere in North America, somewhere in our region. Mossad will kill a few Israelis or something like that, and then they will blame Iran. Then there will be more threats against the country and attacks, or they will stage more riots or hire people to bring chaos to some city in Iran. Then again Trump will come in to save the Iranian people by murdering Iranian people. This is something that the Iranians are saying we cannot tolerate. So it has to end now. If the United States attacks, whether it is symbolic or whether it is a major assault, the Iranians are going to launch an all-out assault. It will be directed toward U.S. bases. Of course, it will be directed toward the U.S. Navy, but it will also be directed toward all U.S. interests across the region. That can mean many things that are non-military, and that means trillions of dollars of assets will be targeted. The Iranians have already spoken about shutting the Strait of Hormuz, which is very easy to do. It is not just about the strait itself that can be shut down. They can sink the ships that go through the strait. They have thousands of anti-ship missiles based in the Persian Gulf that can destroy everything in the Persian Gulf region. They can destroy the ports. They can destroy the oil and gas facilities. They can destroy the pipelines. And they can do the same outside the Strait of Hormuz and in the Indian Ocean. So if there is war, I believe that the oil and gas trade across West Asia and the Caucasus will come to an end, and that will lead to a global economic crash. U.S. assets in the region will, of course, be targeted. Those Arab countries that host U.S. bases, which are as we speak being used to plan against Iran, will be complicit. I do not think these Arab regimes will last more than a few hours or a few days or at most a few weeks. Some of these entities have passport-holding populations of a few hundred thousand to a million, and foreign workers outnumber citizens 5 to 1 or 10 to 1. Most of the foreign workers are adult males. So if there is chaos, I think the regimes will collapse, and that will change the map of the region permanently. From my understanding, it would be insanity for President Trump to attack Iran. But Trump is surrounded by Israeli supporters. Congress and the Senate are controlled by Israeli supporters. The Epstein documents give us a very small view into the ugly reality of the ruling class. So even though it is insanity, it is quite plausible that an attack will happen.”
