Let's put Raising Kanan aside for a moment, this shit Ghost did was also uncalled for 😏 Yea he wasn't down with your new plan, so you decide to either take him out or put him in jail??? Something we need to learn more about in Power Origins. The how & why of why Ghost killed Breeze. However, that's not all. This conversation also highlights another interesting dynamic, relationship and question. If Ghost was able to kill Breeze, someone who he loved like a brother. Someone he could still manipulate or get real information from without immediate suspicion. For those guys saying Breeze ran Nique off New York, I hope this opens your eyes to the real truth. First, Unique went to meet Kanan to see if he and him could work together. This was after Nique knew Breeze was gunning for him. He was still ready to stay in town and do business, but unfortunately Kanan turned him down. With Kanan turning him down, Nique had no way to do business anymore. Secondly, he told Akbar he isn't running from shit, even after he knew everybody would be gunning for him. He was still willing to stay and fight it out. Then Akbar reminded him that he has people (family) waiting for him. Since there was no business for him in New York, what's the purpose of leaving your family if the reason you initially left them was for business? So, in summary, Nique left because there was no business anymore for him, with the added incentive that he has a family waiting for him. Ghost did warn Tariq, keep thinking he was smarter than him, don't ever make that mistake. From then on, Tariq's life just turned into turmoil, which continued into Power Book 2 Ghost. Ghsot was still controlling Tariq, from forcing him to go to school, completing his education for his inheritance to having plans put in place for Yasmin. Ghost was always 3 moves ahead.. Only then did Tariq start to understand Ghost more and more and also why he did what he did. He's learned more about Ghost since he killed him than when he was alive. A trend I expect to continue in Power Legacy when he's with Tommy.

Ghost was right, Dre had all the potential to make it work. He had dreams beyond the streets, but the difference was, he never really wanted to leave the streets behind.
