Ghost was right, Dre had all the potential to make it work. He had dreams beyond the streets, but the difference was, he never really wanted to leave the streets behind. He was mentored by Kanan, Tommy and also schooled by Ghost in the real world of business and... show more

Ghost was a character who loved to be in control but this was the first time we saw Ghost really spooked, where later, Tommy took control. Ghost was so busy with club business, dealing with Filipe Lobos, various relationships, he didn't realize Milan was disguised as Dean. He had men in his clubs, he knew where he lived, he knew about his relationship with Angela, he studied Ghost's routine, right under his nose. Kanan once said that he's seen Ghost spooked before and it wasn't good for anyone. Hopefully, this is something we see in Power Origins, as threats and experiences like this at a young age, would have helped make Ghost the calculated, strategic character we originally saw in Power. But this one moment and Kanan's history lesson, we will for sure see Ghost spooked by something in Origins.

Ghost didn’t kill Dre because he was a threat, he killed him because Dre was the only one who actually learned EVERYTHING Ghost taught. 2-Bit deserved more. He was the only one who did his time without snitching. He lived by the Soldier's Creed.

Notice how Kanan asked Tommy about how was business instead of Ghost? He viewed Tommy as the more open, street-loyal, and emotionally accessible from the two. Someone he could still manipulate or get real information from without immediate suspicion. The interaction with Ghost was more tense, guarded, and uncomfortable, because Ghost felt uneasy about his unexpected return. Especially since him and Tasha set him up. Ghost was someone who loved control, but with Kanan now out, it was about he knew it could turn into more chaos on all fronts, business, streets and with Tommy.

Kannan knows that the only way to get to ghost was to mess with Tariq and it worked, Dre was just the tool he used to make it happen

Something we need to learn more about in Power Origins. The how & why of why Ghost killed Breeze. However, that's not all. This conversation also highlights another interesting dynamic, relationship and question. If Ghost was able to kill Breeze, someone who he loved like a brother. Why wasn't he able to do the same with Kanan? Kanan was there for him when his pops died, but it's clear there was a lot of love between Kanan and Ghost in Power Origins. Ghost would have looked up to Kanan, but the same question still stands. Even though their brotherly love was genuine, how much of it was through manipulation?

Let's put Raising Kanan aside for a moment, this shit Ghost did was also uncalled for 😏 Yea he wasn't down with your new plan, so you decide to either take him out or put him in jail??? For what?? because he doesn't want to move stuffs your way?? It was not like Kanan was about to do some bad shii, he was just playing the game he knows how to play best and because you have a different vision you decide Kanan had to be taken out of all the way?? That was sick for real...For instance, Tommy don't like the he is been fvcking around with Angela, so Tommy decide to set Ghost up or drop him, isn't that betrayal? Ghost could have just told Kanan, he is not feeling his style anymore and he gon go his different ways and since Kanan knows Ghost is no push over like that so he won't try to take him out because he is starting his trade elsewhere. That's just for a moment though, Kanan definitely deserved every bit of what he got but this was also bad from Ghost😏 #RaisingKanan #Power #Ghost #Tommy

Julius Erving talking about playing with Charles Barkley: “I kept seeing his upside. He was hard-headed. He had something to say about everything. If he didn’t play as good as he can and well as he was capable of playing or whatever, then some of the things he did wouldn’t be tolerated. But they were tolerated because, you know, he was exceptional, man. He could rebound it, take it coast to coast, make play. And for his height to rebound the way that he did, it was incredible. It was kind of disruptive because we had won the championship the year before he got there. Then the year that he got there. We had to make room for him and he almost killed Marc Iavaroni cuz he was playing the four, Charles was like that’s my spot right there. This going back to violence in the game because the next man up. Me and you man. He get Iavaroni at his back. He back him all the way out to the top of the key” (Via All the Smoke)

🐨: Our Yoongi hyung worked so hard on his running. 🐻: Yeah, he’s really into it these days. 🐥: You know how he is—once he gets into something, he just goes all out. 🐿️: He really does. Out of nowhere, he was like, I think I need to lose some weight. So he started dieting a lot and exercising. He was running so much. When we were working out, he was always there. 🐻: He was doing bench presses with 10kg, 10kg, and it looked so light for him. 🐨: But since he was running so much, Yoongi hyung said he wanted to run a marathon. 🐥: And he did go, right? 🐨: Yeah, he actually went and did it. 🐿️: And on the day of the concert— 🐨: On the actual day! 🐿️: Yeah, on the day of the concert, in the morning, he woke up at 6:00 AM. Apparently, there was a really famous marathon happening around that area. So he went to do it, and it was over 10km... 🐨: It was 12km.

👤 Was the waffle good? 🐿️ Yeah, that's what I had with Jungkook. Jungkook told me there was this place he had gone to during the promotions for "Seven", where he had really enjoyed the food. I was like, "Oh, really?" Then he said he wanted to go back there, so he asked if we could go together. 🐿️ We went, and the atmosphere was really nice. There was a restaurant on about the 40th floor of a building. We ordered this waffle dish with duck on top, and you pour sauce over it before eating. It was so delicious. 🐿️ I was genuinely surprised by how good it was. It was really tasty.
