Someone was asking about Jimbo. Jimbo was a kodiak bear who weighed over 1500 pounds and still over 10.5 feet tall. He came to us as a cub and died a few years ago from liver cancer. He lived a long time and had a good life but had been born from captive born parents in a wildlife “park” that went bankrupt. He couldn’t be released and he lived out his life here at the Orphaned Wildlife Center. He was very much loved and being given a cake for his birthday. And yes - that is Leo in this video with him. :)

Michael’s time in Ireland seemed to be the first time in his whole entire life he was able to live a normal life. No one made a fuss, no one followed him, just a man living with his children in a quiet village surrounded by a warm community that looked out for him. The last part is completely heartbreaking and I truly believe it would’ve been the case if he had stayed there, he would still be here today.
