i love you carmen and every point you made is valid except for the one deflecting from criticisms of anti blackness.. white supremacy permeates all communities and topics, you can't outright ignore that angle and say "that's not what this is about!" because it might still affect

Today is autistic pride day. And there is something special about being able to post a video of me stimming, when even going back a year or two years I could never have done that. My autistic traits are the parts of myself I grew up feeling embarrassed about. I wanted to hide it all away, to blend in and be like everyone else. But no matter how hard I tried, I just wasn’t like everyone else, and trying to be broke me. I don’t think autistic pride means you have to love being autistic. I think autistic pride is about taking back the power from the world and the people that wanted me to hide my autistic self. Learning to love myself as I am, accept myself for who I am, and know that I am autistic and that is okay. It is not good, it is not bad - it just IS. I know I am lucky to be able to discover the authentic me, and feel safe to be myself. I am leaning in to the authentic version of me as fully as I can. Happy #AutisticPrideDay. Know that however you feel about this day is okay. However you feel about being autistic is okay. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 (also taking a moment to feel the emotion that I can even post this caption, after years and years of hating myself. this is healing).

🦊 I think this album might really divide opinions, but honestly… I thought, “Well, that can happen,” and I didn’t want to worry about it 🦊 In the end, while preparing this album, I feel like I stayed true to myself 🦊 “Being myself” is actually the phrase I repeated to myself the most this time. 🦊 It was like, “Let’s do this in my own way,” and I think I really did 🦊 It genuinely felt like I was fully preparing my solo album on my own terms. 🦊 I don’t know… whether it does well or not, I have no idea. #BAMBAM: originally, #GOT7’s PYTHON was a song i made for my solo. but the members said, “let’s each share what we’ve made,” so in the gc (everyone sent their songs). at first, i thought, “ah, this (song) is so good, what should i do…” it was supposed to be the title track of my album. but since we were making a comeback after a long time, i thought this wasn’t the time to worry about my own stuff. if even i think it’s a good song, then sharing it with the group felt like showing proper respect to the team. so i just sent it right away.
