Let’s talk about shooting in NBA 2K27.

What do you mean middy cheese? Why always 3 hunt? That’s what’s wrong with the NBA today, nobody wants to take the middy. The 3 is usually guarded the hardest on 2k, why not invest and take the middy if it’s given to you?

I don’t mean cheese as in a mid range itself is cheese. I mean purposely shooting mid range shots which are much easier for many reasons, then getting the fading takeover from that, and from then on shooting 35 feet fadeaways with ease for the rest of the game.

I can respect that. My middy is way higher than my 3 and they leave the mid range open so much.

@BADGEPLUG I’m not standing still to shoot a middy unless they are in zone and the center is playing down. Fading middy, I’m gonna kill you with it all day, been doing it for about 8 2k cycles.

NOONE SHOULD SHOOT even shoot around 50% from three unless you are FUCKING nasty wit, practice, and take high quality shots. Personally, I want 2k to mimic real hoops but you clowns wanna green everything

There was nothing wrong with 2k26s shooting. It was just the contest system that needed to be fixed 2k26 was fine it just needed a defensive buff not a offensive nerf

You can lab up and still hit 50%. I will say that. Now, the other side is that there are a lot variations for open shots. Contests in this game is terrible. Passing is terrible. Even if we had 26 shooting. The problem wasn't the shooting. It's DEFENSE. FIX THE DEFENSE.

I don’t think people are necessarily complaining about bad shooting. It’s that there’s no reason that a 91+ 3pt rating should have the same green window as someone with a 70 3pt rating

bro badge i respect you but 2k26 wasnt bad at all, if you was good at defense the "casuals" that made shots consistently would stop making shots by what? Good defense. The problem is that a majority of people complain about 2k is horrible at defending.

Not to mention anyone who is dashboarding games to keep their %’s and then the cheaters which yes ofc us not cheaters out weigh them but that doesn’t mean it ain’t happening
