Let's talk about Tempo shooting for NBA 2K27...

It’s not the hardest way to shoot but I wouldn’t say everyone can make a tempo shot. Playing in rec randoms with a black plate showed me there’s tempo shooters that shoot 50% or less. I feel like the match making make it feels like it’s too easy but to others it’s not

Which is why I said I wouldn’t be against rhythm shooting being in casual modes. Just keep it out of pro am, stage, and proving grounds.

Bro you play the game professionally. An average or causal player who doesn’t play the game all day everyday shouldn’t have to do gymnastics to make a jumpshot. This is the 2k community’s problem. Streamers and content creators make these videos and devs listen instead

@Joey2KYT Nah contest in this game suck and has been this way for awhile. Tempo is fine. Contest is horrible you could have a hand up and the shot will still say open, unacceptable

This is what I would do in order of importance: First, improve the contest system (I feel this is always an issue so idk how they would do it but yea). Second, at least when you no-drop with rhythm you have to green both the timing and tempo. If not just have it back to 25.

I know people who can’t rhythm shoot at all and think it’s harder than the button… it’s a perspective thing overall. The guys who say it’s too easy never ask the guys who think rhythm shooting is hard why they believe so, so they ignore that everyone actually CANT.

ive seen people shoot like crap with tempo. Make stage, pro am, park and events have tempo banned. Let the casuals have their fun. Make sure we nerf rep in starting 5 bc i cant see a world where it makes sense to ban tempo in there, and it would be the easiest rep method again.

People always go bananas whenever a slight resemblance of a white release going in. If anything 2k should hide the tempo timing part n show only tempo. Also hide the shooting bar and put a disclaimer that requires more skill 🤣
