@OpenAI That looks pretty expensive to run with GPT-4, but it's cool. I reckon it's challenging to accomplish something like that with plain GPT-3.5

@OpenAI Definitely expensive! Can easily spend $100/day at the moment. Goal is to get it working with GPT-4 and then begin fine-tuning smaller models like a 3.5-turbo for faster & cheaper gameplay.

@OpenAI I don’t care much for video games but this is so damn cool.

@OpenAI the idea of using games as the perfect playground for the latest AI research is one of the most appealing parts of it to me

@OpenAI Will be super cool when characters can build structures, and you can employ or barter with them.

@OpenAI Really looking forward to when I get this working. That'll be a ton of fun

@OpenAI if bigger games adopt this tech, then the games will def become subscription-based, even single-player ones, and i'm not sure if it's something that the general consumer will agree to. You can fix it by implementing a local model, but then the system requirements will be insane

@OpenAI The trend of these models is extremely promising, we've seen orders of magnitude drop in cost just over the past few years, and I'm planning on that continuing. So much so that I think you can eventually make the games free to play.
