Seth Rogen reveals The Interview used a real tiger because the CGI was too expensive, then the tiger wrangler started asking terrifying questions I did a movie called The Interview about North Korea, and there’s a scene with a tiger. I directed the movie with my partner, and we wrote this scene where there’s a tiger. I thought in my head it would be CG. Life of Pi had come out recently, and I was like, “We’ll get the Life of Pi tiger. Put us down for one Life of Pi.” They were like, “We can’t afford that at all. We’ve got to get a real tiger.” I was like, “Oh God.” So we found a tiger wrangler in Calgary, and we had a call with him. It was so funny because he was the least confidence inspiring person you’ve ever spoken to in your entire life. I asked, “Where’d you get the tiger?” He said, “From a stripper.” We were like, “What?” He said, “She had a tiger cub as part of her act, and it got too big, so she had to get rid of it.” We asked, “Where does a stripper get a tiger?” He said, “It’s easier than you think. You could get one.” We had sent him the script, and he said, “Let’s go over the scene. You’re not shooting this at night, are you?” I said, “Yeah, the scene is set at night.” He said, “Ooh.” I asked, “Why is that bad?” He said, “Well, they hunt at night.” He asked, “Can it be during the day?” We said, “No. Is that okay?” There was a long pause, and he said, “Yeah, it’s okay. I think it’s okay.” Then he asked, “It won’t be in a big open area, will it?” We said, “Yeah, it’s basically a giant meadow.” He said, “Ooh.” We asked, “Is that bad?” He said, “Well, if there’s a deer or something, they will go after it.” We said, “That’s bad. Should we not do this?” He said, “No, it’s fine.” Then he asked, “It won’t be raining, will it?” We said, “Yeah. We’re filming in Vancouver in the winter. It will be raining.” He said, “Oh, that’s not good.” We asked, “Why?” He said, “The rain really agitates them. They just don’t like the rain.” We asked, “Should we not do it?” He said, “No, it’s fine. It’ll be fine.”

🐿️ There was one situation once. It was during our third promotion. At that time, I was roommates with Seonghwa. So, I washed up as usual and came out to the completely quiet dorm, like everyone disappeared. I thought, “What’s going on?” Then suddenly Seonghwa came over to my room and said, “Hongjoong, come here for a second. The guys said they have something to tell you.” I was like, “Huh? What’s this about?” So I went, thinking, “What is this… ugh, we have a schedule tomorrow too.” I kind of got myself ready and opened the door - and all seven of them were sitting there with serious faces, like they were in tears but also trying to hold it in. For a second, I thought it was like a surprise birthday party. It really felt like that at first. But then I saw their expressions - they looked really upset. So I asked, “What’s going on?” And they said, “It’s frustrating. Hyungie, you’ve been acting too much like this, and it’s making things hard. You don’t need to promote or push things that much, honestly.” As the conversation went on, from what I remember, one of them even teared up and said, “But hyung, if you go this far, it’s really hard for us. It’s too much. We have promotions coming up - please ease up a little.” And when I saw that tear, I thought, “No… this isn’t right. I can’t let this go on.” I admitted my mistake and immediately apologised quickly and said “I’ll try to do better from tomorrow”.

this is so cute please 🥺🤍🤲🏻 🐳: I had concert rehearsal on that day, so I planned to just came see OffGun around 11 am. He knew that if I came early it means I wouldn’t stay until the show time and leave early, I got caught. He said “Coming this early, you won’t be there, will you?” and I replied “Yeah, I have to rehearse.” I then left at 11:40 am did some errands. The rehearsal started around 3 pm and 3-4 hours long, so I thought I wouldn’t be able make it in time. I don’t know why, but suddenly I decided to go back and watch the concert anyway. I requested to show up late for the rehearsal and would come in the evening. I didn’t watch them until the end though because I had to leave for rehearsal. Off got confused seeing my IG story, “I thought you won’t watch us.” I better not say this but it’s like— we’re not in a friendship where we talk nice to each other, it’s not like we hate each other, we’re just not used saying nice things, it’s shivering. But that day he said “Thank you na~ good luck na~” things like that. I then replied in a way like “Yeah, I came back all the way just to watch you.” He thanked me— don’t tell him about this na, he thanked me and wished me good luck for my concert. We’re in a friendship like… it’s hard to make a new friend anymore, so we need to be good to each other, do you understand how it feels? After he said good luck, I had no courage to reply anymore, I just can’t. It’s cute anyway, Off is showing his soft side to people more, just like the song “My Weakness is In My Heart”. If anyone tells him this, you’ll see it 🫵🏻

Bud Crawford speaks on Ilia Topuria: Walkout Song, UFC PI Run-In, and McGregor Comparisons: “To be honest, I’ve never even seen this guy fight. I ain’t even gonna lie. I’m not worried about that guy at all. It’s crazy how things work. I didn’t even know who he was when he seen me at the UFC (PI). He came up to me and shaked my hand, saying what’s up to me. I ain’t even know who he was, and then I see him online talking that he gonna knock me out in the first round and this and that. Well, if he wanted to fight me, you had the opportunity to tell me, like, ‘Hey, I wanna fight you. What’s up?’ Like, that’s fake, ya know? If I don’t like somebody, if I wanna fight ‘em, for whatever reason, I woulda been like, ‘What’s up, man? What do you think about me and you fighting?’ I’m not gonna go hide behind the keyboard and then be like, ‘Oh, I’ll knock this guy out.’ That’s fake.” “He’s not nowhere near on the level of Conor McGregor. Let’s be real. Stop it. Don’t ever compare him to Conor. Like I said, I don’t know this guy. I’ve never seen this guy fight, and I watch a lot of MMA. Maybe I’m slipping. Maybe this guy is a good fighter, I don’t know, but I honestly have never seen this guy fight.” “…Listen, tell that guy to keep up the good work in his career, and I wish him the best.” The full conversation between Ariel and Crawford is definitely worth watching. Akon says he risked his label on Lady Gaga by giving her “Just Dance” instead of the Pussycat Dolls “Lady Gaga was already at Interscope when I got there. She was an artist there. But at the time, I don’t know what Interscope was going to do with her because she was there for a minute. She walks in with these all gold leotards and stuff, looking like she’s from the ’80s. And I was like, ‘Damn.’ She was already different. Then after speaking with her and talking to her, I’m like this bitch is mad talented. So we write the record. She goes in to demo the song out. I’m looking like, ‘Yo, this bitch is a star’” “She comes out. I was like, ‘What’s the situation.’ She’s like, ‘Well, I’m at Interscope. I’m not quite sure.’ I said, ‘Okay, give me a second.’ So I called Jimmy. I said, ‘What’s up with this Lady Gaga chick?’ He’s like, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘I think I want to sign her.’ He said, ‘Take her.’ I said, ‘I could have her?’ He said, ‘Yeah, she’s all yours.’ Then, mind you, we’ve got a smash-hit record. I said, ‘Yo, Jimmy, we’ve got the record.’ I’m going back in. He’s thinking we’re playing the record for the Pussycat Dolls, but at that point, when he told me I could have Gaga, I’m like we working on her album” “We go in there, and we’re playing this record, ‘Just Dance.’ He’s going crazy. He’s like, ‘Oh my God, this is it. We got the fucking one. We got it.’ The whole time, he’s thinking this record is the perfect record for the Pussycat Dolls. The music stops. He said, ‘Thank you man. The Pussycat Dolls are going to love this record.’ I said, ‘Jimmy, this record is for Gaga.’ He said, ‘What?’ I said, ‘Yes, it’s for Gaga.’ He said, ‘Okay, make me understand this.’ I said, ‘Jimmy, listen. The Pussycat Dolls are already a global smash art. They’re a piece of art. All they need is one record. I’ll make a million of them. I’ll make another one for them” “He said, ‘It’s not good enough.’ I said, ‘Listen to this record again one more time.’ We played the record. I said, ‘This record will make you another Pussycat Doll, or possibly even bigger. This is a record that breaks a new artist, not keeps a new artist popping.’ He thought about it. He said, ‘Would you put your label on that?’ I said, ‘Yeah. If this record doesn’t work, you can drop me.’ And you let me go with it. That was probably the best decision we collectively made together”

🐹Jimin and I have completely different workout styles. I keep it neat and tidy, I’m like “today, I will hit all three chest exercises, then move on to shoulders and abs, all in a flash.” It’s a bit short, even I think it’s a bit short, but I do about 30 minutes and head out. But Jimin works out, like a rice cooker, “hisssssss~~~” he was working out like this. So I asked him, “Jimin, when you work out like that, is that a workout or a rice cooker finishing cooking? I don’t really get it.” Then there was this one time when we were playing a game, and he suddenly said he needed to go somewhere. I said, “Where are you going?” Anyway, he said this was his last round of the game. When I asked where he was going, he said he couldn’t tell me. “No, where are you going? Why is it a secret from me?” “Ah, I just can’t, I just can’t tell you, hyung,“ Jimin said. That’s when I got a hunch. When Jimin works out, I don’t exactly bother him, but I do keep striking up conversations with him next to him. “Jimin, that’s not how you work out. Lifting such a light weight is a problem. You’re not holding dumbbells, it’s like you’re holding the Earth, you’re lifting air. Are cicadas coming from somewhere? I guess the rice is ready, Jimin.” I teases him a bit, but I don’t interrupt him when working out. Do I? I don’t bother him when I am exercising. I am not sure about when he’s working out, but I don’t bother him when I am exercising. Maybe I am a bad person? but I am not that bad though? I guess Jimin felt like he’s being interrupted, so he kept it a secret from me and went to work out. “Okay, I get it. Let’s just play the game up to this point.” So I turned the game off right away, and since I thought Jimin might go there, so I went to work out. Then he asked, “How did you know I was coming?” So this was a little episode we had 😄 #JIN (Jin is so funny 😆)

Edward Norton tells how Richard Gere told him to use his rent money to buy a guitar and the lesson he learned from that "Probably one of the biggest private guitar collections in the world at the time and he said what do you got" "I said I don't have anything you know and he was like what? we're going guitar shopping" "He took me this place called Voltage Guitars off sunset and I found this 1969 Martin D35 from the year i was born" "It was $1,395 and I was like that was so completely even that wasn't even considerable to me right at the time and Richard he was like" "I like that he goes that's the one and I was like oh man I can't do that and he goes are you taking your per diem and keeping it in an envelope?" "And I said yeah and he goes I'm gonna buy this, you're gonna bring me that envelope of cash tomorrow and give it to me because you only live once" "He was like you're gonna get this guitar" "It sounds silly, it sounds materialist everything, it was a nice thing, it was like him saying like hey you're gonna be fine trust yourself" "He was like this won't be, he said something to me like this won't be your last gig but he also he was like what are you saving it for rent money like get this thing there's gonna be a lot of joy in it" "It's my favorite guitar I've ever bought still and I look at it and I'm like he like launched me into something I can't explain it" Host: "He said that phase of your life is over, walk into your new phase, and walk with your shoulders back" "Yeah it was very.." Host: "I love that, me too like this new phase has abundance"

I really love this part of the interview. It shows how much effort they’ve put in, how much they’ve grown, and how they still genuinely want to keep learning about each other. MC: Has it taken you a long time to get to where you are now? Have there been any conflicts between you? What kind? Gawin : Yeah, there have. Joss: I think the conflicts mostly come from differences in lifestyle and personality. When you spend a lot of time together, you’re bound to see both the good and the bad sides. Like me… I’ve said this before, but my energy tends to push, while his is more pull. I’m the type who always wants to do this, do that, go here, go there. I’m always inviting him to do things. Sometimes, I end up stepping into his space a bit too much. And Gawin is like… introvert level 900. MC: Level 900? Joss: Honestly, more like 999. He needs to go home and recharge, spend time on his own. But sometimes I feel like there are so many things I want him to do with me, so I might invite him a bit too much. And when he doesn’t respond or join in, because he needs to recharge, I end up feeling a certain way. MC: Like upset? Joss: Yeah. But in the end, I have to reflect on myself too. Like, am I pushing him too much? I have friends who help me understand that even if I think what I’m offering is good, he’s the one who gets to decide whether it’s good for him or not. He has to choose for himself. So I think it’s better for me to just give him space. If he wants to join, he can come in on his own. But it’s still a process, we’re still learning about each other. We haven’t known each other for that long. Three years isn’t actually that long. Gawin: Has it really been three years already? Joss: Around two to three years, right? Yeah, we’ve known each other for two almost three years now but we still have a lot to learn about each other. #Flex1045xOnlyFriendsDreamOn #JossGawin
