This part of The Neverending Story is more devastating as a metaphor for 2025 then it ever was when I was a kid. Atreyu tries to tell his horse Artax how the swamps are. That the sadness isn't real. That he's letting it get to him. Atreyu begs Artax to get out of it, if not for himself then his friend — to no avail. Time passes. Finally Atreyu looks up and Artax is gone. He gave in to the illusion. Atreyu did everything he could think of, he begged, he cried, he screamed, but in the end he couldn't save his friend because he refused to save himself. This is one of the hardest lessons to learn in life. Ever.

The best hire I ever made was a 12 year old kid from LA. His name is Eric Pham. He was making Fortnite montages in his bedroom. There was something special about him… the way he commanded the room and talked to a to camera was, different. He was funny. He was charismatic. He wasn't afraid to be himself. He just had “it”. Most people would've scrolled right past him. In 2019 I met Pham, quickly saw the potential he had and wanted to help. I then picked him up to my gaming startup Devour. What he does is he grabs the back of his head and he just starts tugging on it. The idea was he would pull it as far as he could, and then we would take over stretching the image, making it appear to be distorting in a way that it physically couldn’t. Then basically when I shot Vince I just kept urging him to pull harder, and harder, and harder until finally the final take he just pulled it until the makeup just ripped. We said, ‘Okay, we got it.’ That’s what’s in the show because it’s really tugging on his face the maximum it could be done, and then we just extended that. Do you agree with this type of discipline? He’s his stepdad. I think he did exactly what he was supposed to do. He took him outside away from the mom and other kids and he didn’t touch him. He let him vent. He listened to him. Then, he made him do his workout and then explained why he was in the wrong. Just because he seasoned his words while explaining doesn’t mean shit. Sometimes step parents stepping up is all a kids needs. I applaud this step father for caring about the mother and her kids enough to take the time to show this boy guidance and discipline and that he cares for him. Good job! 👏🏼

She packed out today and left him. 💔💔 Igbo women are one of the most wicked, terrible, and money-hungry women ever made by God, and this is a situation very close to home. 💔 This man brought his wife from the village when they were both young, and he sold his business and wares just to open a big pepper soup joint for both of them to maintain. Then this woman started sidelining him. His business was functioning, but it wasn’t doing as well as before, according to the story my mom told me. He made sure his wife had everything, and she grew up on him. He left some boys to watch over his business so he could help his wife’s business grow. Those boys sabotaged his business and stole all the money, so he had to close it down and fully focus on the business he built for his wife. The wife started complaining and told him not to come to the shop again because his presence drove customers away from her shop. She started showing him different shades of wickedness because he no longer brought money home and no longer had a business. She was the one paying the bills in the house for a while, and today she packed out of the house when she knew the rent would expire soon and the man had no means of surviving. 💔💔 This woman looked this man dead in the eyes this morning and said, “What have you done for me? Am I not the one who has been taking care of the bills and feeding you all these years?” It was the neighbors who started shouting and reminding her that, “This is the same man who brought you from the village when you looked like a tadpole, and he changed your life so much.” I just pray and hope he doesn’t commit su!c!de or po!son himself.

I will always remember my encounter with Ojukwu in 1988. He stood not more than 6 feet away from me when he delivered his extempore speech before us young students at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Ojukwu was everything that can be described as Arrogance. He was ARROGANCE personified. He was 55 at that time and talking any how so you can imagine the shortage of wisdom in his head in 1967 when he was just 34. Do you know that just as Murtala Mohammed and Sanni Abacha were the moving shadows behind and nemesis of Yakubu Gowon and Ibrahim Babangida respectively, Ojukwu was to Aguiyi-Ironsi. Ojukwu was the FACE of the ANAMBRA ZIONISTS just as Peter Obi is today. He was only waiting for Aguiyi-Ironsi to stabilise the Government and he would have taken him out. He was the Defacto Head of State. Ojukwu was not the kind of person who would have subordinated to anybody. Just listen to him here. At the time he was boasting and bragging here talking about "Freedom" for his Ibo people he didn't factor the multitude of other ethnicities trapped in his Biafra dream. He didn't bother to consult them to know if they wanted anything to do with his Biafra. They didn't deserve the respect of consultation. It was all about Ibos. He didn't factor the Ijaws, Ibibios, Efik etc. He didn't think about the problem of his landlocked people in Ibo land because he was confident that the Oceans surrounding the Ijaws, Efik and Ibibios must submit to him. He didn't think of monetary policies. He didn't think of International Diplomacy. He was bragging. And when the war started he didn't have the sense of Miliary strategy to defend his home front but the IBO GREED took the better of him, he crossed over to Delta and Edo and heading to Yoruba land to overrun those places. When reality dawned on him he ran away after sacrificing the lives of his kinsmen. And yes, he DUPED his people of their money too just as Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa did recently. Funnily, he returned to Nigeria from exile only to take sides with the same Fulani people he originally accused of committing genocide against his Ibo people. “I was the number one player in the country my senior year but I knew when I got drafted I was number 450” LeBron talking about his mindset early on in his NBA career on Mind the Game Fun fact: I was actually a fan of LeBron early on his career, he stepped into a team full of jealous teammates and he still shined. He worked his butt off to prove he belonged in the NBA and was deserving of the early high school media praise he got. He came from a single mother home but had a humility and maturity to him that made you want to cheer for him. This podcast reminded me he ONCE had a fire and mindset that was admirable. Sadly, he went away from this humble mindset when he went to Miami and then went on a run of making super team moves. Becoming very unlikable.. Complaining about lack of talent, making excuses, being a victim, ect

Amit Chaudhary was the only son of his parents and only brother of his three elder sisters. He was about to gt married in Jan 2024. On the evening of 14th Sep he called his uncle and told him that the wife of the colonel at whose house he is posted as a House Help under Buddy system of Army is going to murder him. After three days the family received a call from SM of the unit who informed them that they are sending the dead body of Amit to Jammu. The family received the Body on 19th Sep and even now no one from the Army bothered to inform them about the cause and reason of his death. Family is alleging that Wife of the Colonel was forcing Amit to do things with her which he was not comfortable with. And that leads to his murder. Its such a serious allegation and if this is true its a shame for the entire force.
