I was thinking about this recently. I was staring at some lights and realizing I could make a real mess of the business if I hurried. Then I started doing some math in my head and started to notice the clubs are actually a tough business.. so maybe concerts or such are better 😆

This is a great example of coding moving beyond screens. The real test will be how safely the generated system behaves with physical fixtures, failures and timing differences when connected to the actual rig.

Okay this is sick! What hardware lighting would I need for something like this? Trying to get something for a rig I can set up for a venue or just for videos in my home studio. Any recommendations?

Anything that converts Artnet or sACN to DMX will work! There are many different solutions out there, enttec and DmxKing are pretty good for getting started with controlling lights
