She may have killed the children out of misguided love. But does that mean that she didn’t know what she was doing was illegal, or that she couldn’t stop herself from doing illegal things? IMHO, altruistic filicide doesn’t prove she was unable to know killing the kids was illegal, or that she couldn’t stop herself from doing it. Moreover, altruistic filicide completely undermines Clancy’s command hallucination claim. If she had no control over her actions, then how could the actions be as a result of her altruism?

She recalled a conversation that Clancy had in December 2022, a few weeks before the killings, with her and Clancy's husband at the time, Patrick Clancy.
