The problem of Kenya is, Kenyans have destroyed their own country by voting people with questionable characters, and when you confront them, they become emotional. If we don't change, we will one day be like Tanzania or Uganda, courtesy of ignorant Kenyans.

I remember back in the days we used to learn civics at school as GHC(Government, History and Civics). Later it was scaled down to History and Government on purpose.

Muigai, has an insightful views which concern for kenyans. I agree with him that the constitution should be a compulsory subject in schools. For example, I didn't know there is CONSOLIDATED ACCOUNT (Kenyans' account) which act like a family account.

Legal literacy gives power to the voiceless. 🇰🇪 Understanding the Constitution is our first defence against injustice. At MiRight Organization, we’re committed to building a legally informed nation — a noble cause we proudly champion.

Activism is there to highlight the inequalities and injustices, not all are able to fight back or are ignorant. There are soo many heroes in villages who stand up for their rights and that is activism.

Brings up very important issues. But not to get lost in excitement, is our problem the constitution? Or lack of its knowledge by the public majority?

Very insightful if we read the good book we should be familiar with our constitution from a very tender age. This would have a huge impact on our society.

With the previous finance bill menace we are there already. The executive runs legislative chambers. The judiciary is intimidated, we are on our own as citizens.

The guy is right on teaching the constitution in schools. But he is a fool to think what he is doing is not activism. Being an activist does not mean being paid.
