But the estate on the eastern shore of Maryland isn't dependent upon the ability for the Bitcoin development community to avoid subversion longterm.

Saylor is doing the same thing with bitcoin. He’s buying up as much as possible, and it all sits in storage doing nothing. Bitcoin is rapidly evolving into a commodity that sits in reserve accounts and does nothing. Maybe at some point he’ll use it as collateral for fiat.
