Listen....I've been playing around with adding sound feedback to specific actions while drawing. I think it enhances the snap actions and makes things feel more tactile. What do you think? Too much? (🔊 Make sure to enable sound!)

@OpacityHQ Would be cool if implementing haptics wasn't a nightmare. Seems you need a desktop app to support it. Examples:

@OpacityHQ I love love love small plinky SFX on apps. So long as theres a toggle in settings, I say keep going!

@drewwilson @OpacityHQ And that’s not to say it’s not delightful interaction design, I just personally don’t enjoy tool-type-products trying too hard to elicit dopamine (leads to distraction from whatever I’m actually trying to think through) Same with haptics, though I know some folks love them.

@OpacityHQ For sure! I actually have it at 20% volume right now so it doesn't impact music or any other computer sounds. But having granular control on what makes sounds and when would be fun to personalize.

@OpacityHQ Useful, elegant, and simple… This is a very polished piece of work, with great attention to detail. Simplicity is often the hardest thing to achieve.

@OpacityHQ I have this in my pixel art app Dottie, sounds are created in my app Wavelet (which I built for this one reason). I hid sounds in the launch version of Dottie because I realised I needed to live with it a bit more to make sure it wasn't hugely annoying. Check out Mac OS 8 sounds.
