They were first because for the first time in the history of Ghana, we have Medical responders assigned to every community who work closely with the Ghana Ambulance Service as emergency technicians within the community. This collaboration with the Ambulance Service is the FIRST OF IT'S KIND EVER and was carved out of deep thinking not just to create jobs but to also save lives through quick emergency care and access. Dear Community Medical First Respondent (CMFR), I salute you for the job done in saving the many lives during the disaster.
