Litecoin is taking its time on the thing that actually matters LitVM's LiteForge testnet has run since April with gas paid in zkLTC, and Litecoin still hasn't set a mainnet date. The team is waiting on the bridge and full security audits first. Full EVM compatibility is the prize here. Charlie Lee (Charlie Lee Ⓜ️🕸️), David Schwartz, and David Chaum are all advising. $LTC

Canary's $LTC ETF just saw its 6th day of net inflows this year... Is this the start of something...? Canary Capital's spot Litecoin ETF attracted net +$317,140 in capital on Friday June 19. This constituted the product's first day of net inflows since May 22, and only the 6th day of inflows this year so far. Is this a one-off or are people becoming wise to Litecoin Foundation ⚡️ and its capabilities?

Litecoin whales are stacking while everyone argues about LitVM The number of wallets holding 10,000+ litecoin:native just hit 648, up 7% in five months. Per Santiment Intelligence, the whales kept accumulating straight through uninspiring price action, while transaction volume sits at yearly lows. What drives the attention is LitVM, Litecoin's first official smart contract layer, backed by the Litecoin Foundation (Litecoin Foundation ⚡️) and running on a testnet since April. The community is split on whether DeFi on Litecoin creates real demand, while testnet farmers chase a token that hasn't even been confirmed.

Litecoin's privacy layer is a separate block space you choose to enter MWEB takes two ideas first floated for Bitcoin, MimbleWimble privacy and extension blocks, and runs them together. Litecoin activated it as a soft fork in May 2022. Using it is up to you. Peg LTC in visibly, move it inside with amounts hidden from everyone but the people involved, and peg out when you want it back on the open chain. Over 500,000 litecoin:native has made that trip and stayed, and the math still proves nobody minted coins out of thin air while the numbers were hidden. It has taken a hit and held. A March validation bug let someone inflate a peg-out, the coins came back and were re-pegged, and Litecoin Core 0.21.5.4 shut the door.
