There's about 35 jokes crammed into this scene and they're all perfect

The entire opening of this episode, from Homer getting booted from Moe’s for a spilled sugar prank, to his search through multiple bars, is so incredibly good. And zero relation really to the actual focus of the episode, just all set up to get to Marge being afraid of flying

This whole episode is a classic. It also has the brilliant bit of “Homer. Who is Homer? My name is guy incognito & also Homer visiting cheers & running away when Norm is going to kill everybody with a broken beer bottle because Woody wouldn’t serve him.

I think a potential meme template is when Homer flips the switch, and the copilot says "We'll need that to live". Great video though! Old school Simpsons is the best.

I love the fact the guy is recruiting for a pilot from a bar where everybody is seemingly very drunk.

Old Simpsons Homer: knows he’s not qualified to fly a plane and this is a dangerous situation, owns up to his mistake early and often (is ignored) New Simpsons Homer: would think he could fly the plane and willingly endanger hundreds of lives for fun
