Exciting progress on the QF x PolkaVM front! 🚀 First, what is PolkaVM? It's a revolutionary RISC-V based virtual machine, able to that executes code at near-native speeds, while maintaining the security and portability needed for blockchain applications. PolkaVM is to QF what EVM is to Ethereum, with some added benefits Why we're bullish on PolkaVM: 🔥 Near-native execution speeds 🛠 Leverages mature RISC-V tooling ♻️ Seamless migration path for Solidity projects 🚀The world's fastest VM We've been deep in the trenches working with PolkaVM, amazing RISC-V-based smart contract execution environment (huge shoutout to Koute Parity Technologies for this groundbreaking tech!). While it's still marked as heavily under development, we're thrilled to share our progress! ✅ Configured and validated the patched LLVM toolchain (thanks to ParityTech for maintaining this crucial piece!) ✅ Got the RISC-V compilation pipeline up and running ✅ Deployed our first contracts ✅ Set up initial benchmarking framework The journey hasn't been without its challenges - the toolchain is complex and requires careful handling. Each system needs manual compilation and installation adjustments, but that's exactly the kind of technical puzzle we love solving! What's cooking next: 🔨 Launching a multi-node devnet with PolkaVM support 🔧 Running comprehensive benchmarks on our test WASM code compilation 🛠️ Experimenting with various smart contract compilation approaches 📊 Optimizing and streamlining the toolchain for broader developer accessibility The potential of RISC-V smart contracts is immense, and we're committed to pushing these capabilities forward together with the open source community. A world first: a demonstration of AI running *on* blockchain as a smart contract 🧠⚡️ The Internet Computer is used – the world's first 3rd gen. blockchain #ICP. AI will become the beating heart of our web3, multi-chain world, and this is only my first demo. Code will follow shortly. This is running on DFINITY's Internet Computer testnet, but you'll be able to take the code and run it on the public network as the NNS is expected to up the per-transaction instruction limit in the coming days. Some important notes. The inference engine used has not been optimized, and we will show vastly greater efficiency in subsequent demos, where the AI runs even faster, and consumes less gas/cycles. We will also propose to the NNS that smart contracts have access to SIMD instructions – which we have determined are deterministic – unlocking vastly more speed and efficiency. Lastly, currently the actor smart contracts ICP hosts run inside a 32 bit environment, which limits their main memory to 4GB. Within the next couple of months, we expect the Internet Computer to move to a 64 bit environment, allowing smart contract memory limits to be raised much higher – allowing for models with far more parameters, and thus power, to be run. Those of you who have followed my posts know that hardware optimization support is planned. Firstly this will involve WASM smart contracts shipping out matrices for processing by the CPUs on existing node machines (another advantage of the Internet Computer running on sovereign node hardware). Secondly, we plan to propose a new public node machine specification, which node providers can build to, for use in subnets specialized for hosting AI smart contracts, in which each machine will incorporate several GPUs. Naturally, this will be packaged with other technological developments that ensure smart contract determinism. This is part of our mission to enable powerful LLMs to run as smart contracts on the Internet Computer – in a forms that are tamperproof, unstoppable, and optionally autonomous (including under the exclusive control of DAOs). Our vision: you will be able to have a chat with a smart contract. A smart contract will be able to coordinate your organization (see my earlier tweet about a "Delphi"). ICP smart contracts will be able to audit Ethereum smart contracts, kitemarking those without backdoors and reentrancy bugs. And smart contracts will be able to do KYC autonmously, matching faces to driving licenses, and more. We will deliver new SDK enhancements, and work with partners, to turbocharge crypto AI developers. Secure and unstoppable AI and third generation blockchain will be two sides of the same coin. Security and AI will be indivisible. AI models will be traded as NFTs. Thanks to Internet Computer's chain key (trustless multi-chain) capabilities, all blockchains will be able to leverage AI smart contracts. The future is beyond exciting. Thanks for watching. Can't wait to give you more demos!

Say hello to a massive acceleration of AI smart contracts 🧠 on the Internet Computer #ICP blockchain. Brilliant work by the DFINITY Foundation team has accelerated deterministic floating point instructions by 10X. We continue on our mission to run sophisticated LLMs as smart contracts 👊⚡️🔥 In the demo, image classification is now running 3X+ faster (across 3-4 blocks through consensus compared to 10-12 before). Naturally, the gas/cycles costs of AI inference has come down commensurately. The acceleration was achieved through broad low-level work, which includes commits to the public Wasmtime virtual machine implementation of WebAssembly. Coming optimizations will take us much further. The next optimization will include the integration of SIMD instructions into the smart contract execution environment, which will allow multiple floating point calculations to be performed in parallel through the execution of a single instruction. Something crucial: also in near sight, is the migration of the ICP smart contract environment from 32-bit Wasm to 64-bit Wasm, which will scale the number of AI model weights that can be loaded into contract memory from 2B to whatever is needed for sophisticated LLMs. Somewhat further away, is the provision of new APIs allowing canister smart contract code to export AI computations for accelerated processing on GPUs. This will require substantial work to address the challenges of achieving deterministic computation directly on the silicon, and for the community to agree a new public spec for node machines that pack GPUs, and to add compliant blockchain nodes to the network. Together, these improvements will unlock further orders of magnitude acceleration of AI smart contract inference (and potentially training). We believe that in the future vast numbers of AI models will run as smart contracts, which will prevent them being hacked (and thus the sensitive data they ingest being stolen), make them unstoppable, make them transparent, and where needed, allow them to run autonomously – for example for purposes such as KYC or EVM smart contract verification/certification. In the future, you will be able to have a conversation with a blockchain, and ask it to do reasoning for you. In this bright future, on-chain AI will be at the heart of Web3 – and to be clear, the Internet Computer's chain key technology will allow direct trustless integration with smart contracts on traditional chains such as Ethereum, Solana and NEAR. Join the #ICP mission to run the most impactful AI models on blockchain as smart contracts, and help make the Internet Computer the "everything computer." Join next week's Global R&D for details about the low-level deterministic floating point optimizations. Thanks for following 💪

I’ve seen enough. Smart Assist has reached its breaking point. I was casually getting a few games in with my Barca team when I encountered a pro player who is Top 22 in the World in PvP divisions and Top 30 in the World in AI divisions using Smart Assist. This guy is clearly not a beginner at the game and I don’t want to hear any sort of nonsense excuse trying to justify him using Smart Assist because this feature was meant to help noobs and beginners at the game not pro players who know the game inside and out. I can only assume that 99% of the playerbase is using Smart Assist. It’s a fact that I am struggling to come to terms with but this is the unfortunate reality. What has happened is that slowly more and more players who were not using Smart Assist experienced how dreadful it is playing against a Smart Assist user regardless of the skill level of the Smart Assist user and decided to turn it on themselves so they don’t have to endure the suffering that comes with playing against Smart Assist. It’s a little depressing seeing where the game is at right now but this is unfortunately Konami’s vision for the game. I just can’t wrap my head around it when you literally can have a garbage team with $0 spent with Smart Assist turned on and be able to smash a fully paid premium Epic and Big Time team by pressing and holding 1 button the entire game. Hopefully soon they will realize that all of the Smart Assist users (which is 99% of the playerbase) will see no need to spend any money on the game since an untrained GP Niklas Sule from the Standard Player list with 67 speed and 48 acceleration (I’m not lying that’s literally his stats) is able to catch up with George Best with 100+ speed and 100+ Acceleration.

Deborah has been scammed!!! While scrolling on Youtube, Deborah saw an advert, Go from beginner to master in coding in just 2 months. It has been her life long dream to become a developer. She paid $150 to learn web 3 development. Fast forward 6 months later, Deborah cannot write a simple smart contract Trust me you don't want to be like Deborah KRNL Labs is your solution. "From Setup to Success: KRNL’s CLI Makes Web3 Dev a Breeze 🔧" 🔗 First, what's the CLI? ➻ It's almost like a magic wand for your computer that lets you deploy, manage, and install KRNL's(KRNL Labs )tools 🛠 by typing commands. Your terminal is all of what is needed. There is not any fancy software that is required. ➻ Brew install krnl-cli goes after type brew tap krnl-labs/krnl. Homebrew gets KRNL on your Mac using this setup. For Windows or Linux users, check the guide about alternatives. Coding is just like downloading a new game instead. ➻ See if it works via running krnl help. This shows every command you can utilize like a toolbox cheat sheet. Brew upgrade krnl-cli updates the CLI you use. Updating your phone is similar to that. It gives access to all of the latest features. After installing, restart your terminal to avoid errors like “forge not found.” This ensures smooth communication. That folder 📁 thus created holds smart contracts with configurations, and other necessities. It is in the same way as receiving a pre-built LEGO set. The set may help you start your project. ➻ Then, deploy your Token Authority (TA) and smart contract 📝. The CLI guides you through registering them on the KRNL's registry, making your dApp part of their ecosystem. Think of it as registering your game online so others can play it. Dev testrun ⚒ ➻ For example, deploy your TA with krnl deploy-ta --network sepolia --private-key . This sets up a secure identity for your kernels. Then, deploy your main contract with krnl deploy-contract --network sepolia --private-key . Finally, register everything with krnl register --network sepolia --private-key --ta-address --contract-address . It's like setting up a shop online, but for blockchain. #GalxeStarboard #KRNL

At Avalon we are building "Real-time creating" - the ability to generate gameplay ready persistent worlds prompted from text. While others are building real-time video world models, Avalon is building real-time world generation inside a fully playable, persistent multiplayer engine. Internally running at 3840×2180 at 60 FPS. Built on Unreal Engine. Multiplayer by default. Persistent by default. Gameplay-ready by default. This is not a video latent replay. Not a simulation of interaction. It is a real 3D world with physics, logic, and authoritative multiplayer state. Avalon is trained on proprietary Avalon interaction data and powered by a hybrid system that combines language understanding, 3D model generation, procedural systems, and structured gameplay logic synthesis. Players can walk through a live world and generate environments, assets, mechanics, and entirely new gameplay modes using natural language. We accomplish this through a combination of 3D model generation, game logic generation based on our proprietary systems, and AI driven world creation. While other players are inside it. Changes persist instantly. State is synchronized in real time. Creation happens inside the world, not outside of it. Describe a biome. Spawn a civilization. Create a survival mode. Build a dungeon crawler. Launch a new game inside the world. Avalon interprets intent and integrates it directly into the live multiplayer environment. This is not a world model predicting video. This is a gameplay engine that understands language. If you can describe it, you can build it. And others can walk into it instantly.

🚨 BREAKING: THERE ARE RUMORS YOU CAN NOW CREATE "SAFE TOKENS" DIRECTLY ON ETHERVISTADEX What are "Safe Tokens"? "Safe Tokens" are tokens generated through our SafeTokenFactory smart contract. These tokens are designed to eliminate vulnerabilities such as mintable functions or scammy taxes and come with a standardized implementation. Before swapping, users can easily verify whether a token is "safe" or if additional caution is needed. This marks a significant step forward in enhancing the quality of projects launched on Ethervista. But does this compromise the customizability of ERC tokens? Not at all. The Ethervista Protocol smart contract allows for a limitless range of applications. Take the $VISTA contract, for example. It's a standard ERC20 token, but with the Ethervista Protocol smart contract, it automatically buys and burns tokens. Similar logic can be applied to any ERC20 token using EthervistaDEX’s unique Protocol feature. What other features would you like to see? Wen dashboards? Wen streaming? We're on it—we just hired a full-time full-stack engineer! Special shoutout to Bonzi - FIRST MEME and MASCOT @ Ethervista and Clippy - Microsoft Anti AI Helper @ Ethervista, the first whitelisted tokens. We will continue to strongly support tokens that burn part of their liquidity before the 5-day lock period and those with strong communities and utility. A final note to creators: We would like to emphasize that burning lp-tokens does not alter your share of rewards UNTIL you remove, add, or claim rewards, which automatically updates your pool share ratio based on your current balance and the total lp-supply, as outlined in our whitepaper. This DOES NOT affect protocol fees, which are used to support both the protocol and creators.

🚨 Just in: After its blockchain pilot, Swift has introduced a tokenization platform by deploying a tokenized bond on Sepolia, Ethereum’s testnet👇 The live demo took place during Sibos, the event organized by Swift in Frankfurt, Germany 🇩🇪 , running since Monday and concluding today. The showcase involved the tokenization of a eurobond, just days after Clearstream and Euroclear announced they had developed a standard to digitize the eurobond market. The tokenized asset was deployed on Sepolia, Ethereum’s testnet. Transaction address: 0x9912AC4dfd70E220038D59AdEC35f1D89E396E95 Even though the demo took place on a testnet, it is technically already fully possible on live blockchains. 🎯 How does the platform work? → It enables the definition of a common standard for any tokenized asset (e.g., eurobond, stablecoin, fund). → Each standard is linked to an implementation through modular smart contracts compatible with all EVM blockchains (L1, L2). → Once defined, the smart contracts can be deployed onchain. The platform then manages the full lifecycle of the asset (issuance, secondary trading, delivery-versus-payment settlement) in order to meet the required compliance levels. → Issuance is designed to be compatible with existing financial standards (ISO 20022, ICMA) as well as traditional infrastructures (custodians, dealers, ICSD). 🎯 Even more interesting… → Participants (banks, fintechs, Web3 developers) can contribute their own modules to a community hub. These modules (audited and standardized) can then be reused by other institutions. “For now, the platform is limited to partners, but it will soon open up to all institutions,” we were told on site. 👉 The core technology was developed by FT, a French 🇫🇷 start-up specializing in smart contract libraries. 📺 Video of the demo here👇 We’ll be following this topic at Blockstories. AG-UI makes building agentic applications dramatically easier. Here's how it works. This is a model for a simple chatbot: User → LLM → Response But interactive agents that render UI, pause for approvals, and ask users for input need a much more complex model. When building these agents, a response from the LLM will include a series of state changes as the agent runs: • Agent started a task • Agent called a tool • Agent updated its state • Agent streams these tokens • Agent is waiting on a human • Agent is resuming the task The Agent-User Interaction Protocol (AG-UI) treats the LLM response as a stream of events rather than a text endpoint. In practice, here is what you get as an agent runs: 1. Lifecycle events so your UI knows where the agent is. 2. Text messages that stream tokens. 3. Tool calls so your UI can prefill a form with any required arguments. 4. State updates that keep your UI in sync with the agent. 5. Special events for human approvals, rich media, and custom needs. All of these events travel over standard transports (SSE, WebSockets, or plain HTTP) as JSON. As a result, you can build a frontend that stays in sync with the agent's progress without having to invent a custom process to make this happen. For example, building a human-in-the-loop workflow becomes an off-the-shelf component you can integrate rather than build from scratch. CopilotKit🪁 is the creator of AG-UI, and you can use it when building frontend applications pretty much anywhere: • React • Angular • Vue • React Native • Slack • Teams • Discord • WhatsApp • Telegram Here is the link for you to check it out: Thanks to the CopilotKit team for partnering with me on this post.

🎮 Resident Evil 4 Remake Gets a Co-op Mode Before Resident Evil 5 Remake. A modder known as claybtv has announced the launch of an open beta for a co-op mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake. The modification, called Multiplayer Mod, allows two players to experience the entire campaign together. According to the developer, the mod synchronizes enemies, story events, doors, switches, alarms, and many other gameplay elements between two separate game instances in real time. From a technical standpoint, it's a remarkable achievement. Resident Evil 4 Remake was originally designed as a single-player experience, meaning that creating stable synchronization between two players required overcoming numerous complex challenges at the engine level. The mod is currently in beta testing, and players may encounter performance issues, animation glitches, and other bugs. The developer is already working on fixes through ongoing updates. 🤔 Perhaps the most interesting part of this story isn't the mod itself, but the community's reaction to it. This is the first fully featured co-op project built for a Resident Evil title on the RE Engine, allowing players to experience nearly the entire campaign together from start to finish. In many ways, the project highlights the continued demand for cooperative gameplay within modern Resident Evil titles. The positive response it has received may be further evidence that there is still significant demand for cooperative experiences within the Resident Evil franchise.

Top 100 of 80s games or not? Personally, I think Archon (1983 by Free Fall Associates) is still one of the best and most unique games ever made. And above all, even 40+ years later it still has an incredibly high (re)playability level. Sure, the graphics and sound could be better - but the concept is timeless. I have no doubt it will still be remembered (and played) in 10, 20, maybe even 50 years from now. What made Archon special was - among other things - the mix chess-like strategic board play and real-time arcade combat in a way that felt revolutionary for its era. While pure chess games existed, none had taken them to the next level and mixed in action sequences like Archon did. As a result it probably attracted a lot more gamers than a pure chess game ever would have. The board features three types of squares: permanent light, permanent dark, and "changing" squares that switch between different shades (from bright to dark, including greens). Your unit's strength (hit points, damage, etc.) gets a boost when standing on a square matching its side's alignment during combat. Timing and tactics mattered to take full advantage of this feature. Also different from traditional chess were the win conditions: you had to eliminate all enemy units, or control the five special "power points" on the board. But the real kicker were the units that you controlled (or fought against). Unlike chess, white and black had asymmetrical units with distinct movement speeds/ranges, hit points, attack styles (projectiles, area effects, flight, etc.), and special powers. One of the best 2-player games ever for 8-bit systems back in the day. I always felt it would be a great project for a modern remake.
