BLACK DAY FOR JAINISM - 16th June 2024 Ancient Jain idols which are hundreds of years old and which were worshipped at the old stairs of Pavagadh Hill were brutally demolished and disgracefully discarded by trustees of Shri Mahakali Mata Temple to make new pathway and stairs. Since the past few years Jains had requested the trust for protection of these ancient idols but were turned away. A strong protest by Jains under the guidance of Shri Jinpremvijayji is ongoing at Collector's office in Surat and Pujyashri has vowed not to leave the premises until the issue is resolved. Jain monks from different sects and monastic orders have reached Collector's office in Surat for the protest. #jain #jainism #pavagadh #vandalism

We can surely connect the dots now why the situation of jains is getting more and more deplorable day by day in terms of their religious identity and their religious place of worship. Country who has got its name from bharat chakravarti भारत, is Openly saying today that India was once great and then came buddh, jains and spread " avdashye " From where did they come ? All 24 tirthankar of Jainism are born in India and attained moksh from India itself. There's something definately not right about what happened at the Canary Wharf protest tonight. The ACTUAL PLANNED PROTEST was moved away from the hotel & cordoned off up the road.... the Police then marched masked ANTIFA protestors to the hotel to stand with Stand up to Racism. They were the COUNTER PROTEST yet they were clearly given priority treatment.... and what is with all this Police formation and shouting commands.... is this normal🤔 🤬🤬
