🍟#Live2D #Live2DWIP🌭 Progress Update!! Lately, I've been a bit lazy, so it took me quite a bit of time to finish the coloring for the back and additional parts. That said, I'm really satisfied with the overall results! As shown in the video, aside from the 3D effect, the... chest size and outfit switching features are functioning well. (I’m not showing the outfit switching this time.) I also used physics settings to drive the full-body motion parameters, so now the posture movement logic is the same as traditional Live2D dolls—controlled entirely by head coordinates. Currently, I'm using only the culling feature for 3D simulation, which is why some Live2D-specific clipping issues appear in the visuals. The 2D clipping mainly happens in areas like the sides of the arms and legs. I plan to address this by adding Draw Order settings later, which should greatly improve the situation. Additionally, there's a gap where the ArtMeshes for the front and back connect. It seems that even though I've meticulously aligned the original warp deformers, this issue still persists. I suspect the problem lies with the PSD artwork. If I extend the range of the graphics a bit more, this should be resolved. Overall, I'm feeling really optimistic about the progress so far! The only downside is that I might not finish this Halloween outfit until Christmas, hahaha🫠🫠🫠show more

Absolute mad lad, this is some astounishing feat. Just that it’s already way too expensive for most indie peeps to afford a regular rig, and the cost of this faux 3D would scare away even the corps. None the less you’ve made history, congrats!

Yes, I have thought about this issue, and I also have a different perspective. Full-body faux 3D models were once considered an impossible task. Even in corporate settings, due to cost considerations, they usually only create heads without bodies. But now, many artists are pouring tremendous effort into individual 2D works. If all this energy were concentrated, it would already be enough to rewrite history countless times. In comparison, I’ve achieved a fairly decent result with roughly the same effort. Isn’t that absolutely worth it? 😉

Congrats to EloShapes.com on their launch! On a similar note, is out of beta and available to the public. A lot of you have been asking me what my plan is now that EloShapes is also doing 3D scans... the answer is: nothing changed! I think that competition is good. I'm a mouse nerd and a LONG TIME EloShapes user, so the more options I get as a user, the better. I really think that my vision and EloShapes, though, is fundamentally different. I've had the domain for FMM for years, I have a much larger platform in mind compared to what I built so far. The 3D scans are the necessary step for my vision, not the end goal: they never were. I am also very proud of the fact that I've been able to scan at least 5 mice in full color EVERY DAY with my own pipeline, and I think I will easily have almost full coverage of the mice people would want on the website within months. Check the video for the mice I've added in just the last few days, all textured. Apart from some of the features I've mentioned before (like the virtual hand/grip), FMM is meant to be kind of a "MyAnimeList" for mice, so that you can share your profile, like this: and then later on leverage this curated list of mice you build for yourself to be shown even more mice you might like. FMM is also a tool for reviewers and anyone that wants to share their opinions on mice. Links like this: allow you to easily share your specific points about a mouse via the annotations, viewpoint sharing and measurements. And of course, as I've said since the beginning, I will use FMM to centralize all my hard testing about sensors, dpi, and such, so that you'll be able to find EVERYTHING about a mouse, including the raw results of my standardized sensor implementation testing. The 3D learning experience is thinking an idea I came up with is cool and spent hours implementing it to find out that it only works for a very specific situation aka it’s useless. HAHA Basically I rigged the collar with their own bones so they don’t deform weirdly with the arm/shoulder movement then realise the sleeve clips into the collar on Z rotation. Decided to try applying the twist bone logic of bone constraints (copy rotation) and was like wow, it kinda works to move the collar away when the arm rotates to the front! But reality is that it just looks nice on T-pose and the “effect” is weird when the arms are posed downwards (which would be the default state of the model in its intended use)… And also the sleeve will still clip into the collar at a more extreme rotation anyway so I guess it was a fruitless effort in the end hahaha It did help me get more comfortable with the idea of applying bone constraints for other uses tho so that’s a plus! ദ്ദി(•⥿•)ว✨ In the end I’ll probably have colliders on the sleeve to prevent clipping with the collar as much as possible but I think a big degree of clipping is still inevitable considering the range of movement when the model is used for 3D vtubing 🤔

#Seungmin on As We Are 🥺🤍 🐶 the song As We Are is a song about the journey that led me to be standing on this dominATE stage now, which being put in one single song. Everyone goes through difficult times, everyone has their own breakthrough phase, same goes to me, as well as you who are listening to this song, we are not all that different, like no matter what happens, slowly, lets get through it together and that's the hopeful content along with the comfort which I tried to put into the song. Usually, when the image of cliff crosses our mind, we would think about the pre-falling moment or maybe something very precarious , so for the first verse lyrics, i mentioned about wanting to potray the struggles to get through things , just right before falling and it connected well with cliff. I think it was a part where the stage set expressed the vulnerability of me very well. I am so so thankful of the video PD as they managed to perfectly express the vibes of the song , the meaning of what i wanted to say through the lyrics & the overall story structure with the background visuals (back source) , hence i was able to pour all my despair into singing at first then later when the clouds and the panorama unfolded, it gave me even more strength to sing. 🐶i have shown the sides of me playing guitar from time to time since in the past, though my skill was a bit clumsy , but for this tour, i made up my mind that i would definitely play a guitar while singing so i traveled far away to seek a guitar myself , and i really went through a lot of trial and error as well as the preparation along the way, Its really beyond my expectation how there were so many people that helped me out and through their help, it seems like the stage became a meaningful & deep one It feels like i gained another ability.

When I saw the mask "Tribes of the Calf" from Kanbas I knew I had to make it into reality. The jewelry and gold really made it stand out for me. Since Sam Spratt's The Masquerade was revealed, I have been spending time sculpting and dissecting the mask to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible. I delved into the creation of this mask for many reasons. I love a good challenge and this mask surely was one for me. Creating something in 3D from a 2D image is not easy, and especially when the source has generative nature, some stuff is hard to interpret, but I tried my best to make sure the visual integrity of the mask is as close to the original as possible. Splitting the whole mask into parts, filling the missing pieces so I can build the textures was quite a lot of work. I tried to present the mask in my own style with a slightly different colorway to adapt to the mask itself. Please enjoy this short animation, and turn on sound🔊 This piece is my statement that I am here to stay. That I have a voice that often feels being lost in the void. That I have been creating and posting digital art for over 20 years now and will continue until I'm gone. I have a story to tell and I want to be heard. The space we have here is small, and is shrinking day by day. It doesn't have to be like that. We need to support each other and push ourselves and people here, otherwise we are all doomed. As Kanbas has put in their observation of the mask: "Inspirational. Emotional. Natural." This is what our space can be, and this is me making a statement with this homage. I will share a 4k still below as well as a short video showing the 3D GLB interactive model together with a yt link to the 4k video since compression here is pretty bad.

INSECURITY: LET'S TELL PRESIDENT TINUBU THE TRUTH, NOT COMMENDATION Today, the Senate had an elaborate discussion on the security situation in the country, which has worsened in the last few weeks. When the Senate President recognised me to speak, I started by reminding him how I raised this issue with him a couple of days ago, and the need for us to work together. I added that it was good the matter had come up by way of a motion. I felt that the deterioration of the security situation in most communities, the killings and abductions, and even the killing of soldiers and officers — one of them of the rank of Brigadier General — and the way terrorists are abducting students, with bandits attacking several States at the same time, are situations that even nations at war do not experience. Therefore, the matter should be examined with all the seriousness it deserves. I stated that it is very clear that not only our democracy is under threat, but the nation itself is being reduced, belittled, and threatened. I also disagreed with the approach and tone of the motion, and some of the comments from members of the majority party who, in my view, were unnecessarily political. That, in my view, did not match the seriousness of the issue. At this point, the Senate President did not allow me to conclude my comments. But what I was saying was that, yes, as I have said several times, the entire nation is under attack, and we must all unite to address this challenge. I do not agree with the request in the motion, supported by the majority of speakers from the majority party, that the President and the government should be commended. I disagree with it.

#SEONGHWA visited Teotihuacán in the morning before leaving Mexico! ⭐️: Now I… It's my last day in Mexico today. I'm going back home soon. Right now I'm feeling very tired, you know? This morning, for a bit, I went to see the… like a mountain here in Mexico. It's that, um, what was it? That massive, the, uh, what was the name? That.. oh, what was it? I can't remember. Anyway, I went to that really big place, and it was very healing. But it was so high up that my legs hurt a bit from the climb up? I heard that it's the world's third biggest pyramid so, this morning I went, and I also took lots of pictures. Ah that's right! Someone commented the place names here. Teotihuacán. Ah, yes, the name's really hard! So, I visited Teotihuacán and it was really… I was completely overwhelmed there and seeing it I really kind of felt like, you know, a bit inspired and also healed. The way it survived the marks of time without crumbling, that was seriously cool/ impressive. As for the pictures, I think I'll upload them once I'm back in Korea. I'll organise them a bit first. Yes.

Hate to be that guy but it needs to be said. Tesla has not yet solved FSD and there is no guarantee it will be solved by June Don't misunderstand me, I'm not predicting it won't be ready. I'm simply reminding a specific group of people that seem to be operating under the assumption it's already a done deal If it was truly solved, we would have Unsupervised. Yes, it's incredible 99% of the time but cracking the code for the final 1% is excruciatingly difficult While we're on the subject - does FSD pull out in front of people and then take its good old time for anyone else? This is a behavior I'm really not a fan of and seems to happen regularly for me on 13.2.8 and 13.2.7 (AI4) We still don't have answers for sun glare - I watch an unhealthy amount of FSD videos and I still see this happening more than I'd like to Yes, snow is another story but initially this isn't really part of the rollout plan for TX and CA. Makes sense to solve for better conditions first Lane selection is still an issue where I'm at as you can see in this clip. Wish I would have had my camera ready for this but I was using FSD and the navigation just needed to go straight through the intersection. Instead, for no reason, it got into the left lane (left turn only) and stayed there. When I got the green arrow it just sat at the light (luckily no one was behind me so I stayed for a bit) and I eventually took over and just made the left turn You'd think basic things like this would be solved by now. Maybe it's the map data but even if it is, that's still a problem This will undoubtedly get misinterpreted and that's fine, but I've felt like some caution around Unsupervised would be healthy for certain pockets of the $TSLA community I'm still as confident as ever that Tesla will be the first to solve for generalized autonomy and I don't think it's close (especially in the US), but there's at least a non-zero percent chance it happens later than this June

Maybe both And there are some I've had some amazing live moments in the tour where I really really I feel like maybe people can hear that I'm not maybe in the best voice and The level of support and love that I feel in the room in those moments I feel like any time with my fan base that you know If I'm ever kind of struggling a little bit I really really feel the love and support from them and and that's really really special I think I spoke about it quite a few times and it's I've almost run out words at this point the relationship that we have With each other and i'm not just being the typical cliche Sing a song right here say my friends are the best in the world They are but truthfully the relationship I think that we have is really really special. I often describe it as like a codependency And it really is like that, you know like I They make the shows better for me and then because of that I make the show better for them. So Those kind of shared moments together and the moments where we've been fighting together I think they're really really special to me.”

🎛️#Live3D #Live2D #Live2DWIP🎛️ Aside from the 3D palm made in Live2D, today I’d like to show a pendulum-based inverse kinematics and pose system. The puppet starts in a T-pose, and when I move the parameters, they pass through a logic gate simulated by physics pendulums. This distributes the pose into the correct XYZ angles for the upper arm, forearm, and palm. That’s how it creates both the relaxed and raised arm movements seen in the video. The IK system works in a similar way. It maps the captured XY position of the palm to the arm’s XY rotation, making it possible to “move the hand” in space. These systems have been floating in my head for a long time, and today I finally confirmed they’re feasible. I plan to apply this further by adding more preset poses and new control methods to the puppet.

My review of GOALS. At first, the dribbling felt a bit unusual and not quite as responsive as I expected. But the more I played, the more it started to click as I got used to the skill mechanics. By the end, I was scoring some really nice goals, so I can see it getting even better with more game time and improved squad. I really like the defending. Player switching feels great, and I think they've found a good balance with the double man press. It helps when needed but you still have to be active with the player you're controlling W! I also felt like opponents got punished for mistakes. At no point did it feel like the AI was automatically doing all the defending or suffocating the player.. W! I think the anti-possession mechanic to stop time-wasting is a little overkill and imo, a game like this doesn't really need it. The actual in game graphics could be a little better but the menus, concept art, and overall aesthetic are really clean. I love the look of it. The idea of building a 1 of 1 personalised club and having cards that can grow their overall rating is a really cool direction and I can definitely see it working well. There's still room for improvement but it's got a solid foundation to build on. Would I play it again? absolutely.

As far as I know, we’re the only official one handed over to American shareholders of ByteDance months ago, and the only one that has been consistently saying, we do not want to buy the algorithm because we know it's never gonna be for sale. If you're Xi this is a bargaining chip in the overall discussions you're having with Trump. If it goes dark, he doesn't really care, and frankly it's not really gonna hurt the overall market capitalization of ByteDance globally. I think in the context of all the issues that the president's dealing with now, there was a time when TikTok was important. I'd say it's at the bottom of the list right now. So the probability of this thing getting a fourth extension I would say is less than 10%.
