Working in Vision Pro is fun. Especially when you can just stop what you’re doing to control a virtual robot that crawls around your space like it’s nothing. Sardo is one of the best demos to show how well visionOS recognizes your surroundings. Most of the time it does an incredible job, and it’s so much fun to see how it reacts to all kinds of different surfaces and furniture.

Working in Vision Pro is fun. Especially when you can just stop what you’re doing to control a virtual robot that crawls around your space like it’s nothing. Apple confirmed visionOS Personas use Gaussian splatting. Found the private framework – CoreRE3DGSFoundation – and got it to render arbitrary PLYs. Working on getting it running in full stereo on Vision Pro next. Research only but hopefully we get a public version at #wwdc26.

NVIDIA just announced some big updates for gaming on Apple Vision Pro. Starting March 19, headset streaming jumps from 60 FPS to 90 FPS. Later this spring, CloudXR 6.0 for visionOS will bring stereoscopic PC streaming to Vision Pro at up to 4K 120 FPS with foveated streaming. Just arrived at GTC and excited to see what else NVIDIA has in store.

DeepSeek R1 671B is ridiculously good, but running at 158 tokens per second is something out of this world. A model *this good* running *this fast* is 3 years ahead of this time. The secret: DeepSeek in this short video isn't running on GPUs. It's running on custom-made chips! This is running on SambaNova and their SN40L chips, which are designed and optimized for running AI workflows. SambaNova is sponsoring my work. We designed GPUs to run games and later realized we could use them for AI. This is very different from creating a chip specifically for AI from the ground up. Working while sitting on a virtual train is one of the most surreal experiences I’ve had in Vision Pro 😄 “TGV InOui” paints an incredibly detailed picture of how the future of train travel could look like, simulating a Vision Pro app inside an realistic immersive experience. It simulates an onboard app where you can order food to your table, learn about your destination, and watch movies — all while the surrounding environment makes it feel as if you’re actually on a moving train. With developer mode you can even bring in your Mac Virtual Display. Away from the Farage riots, early signs of construction are on display at the future site of Universal Studios UK in Kempston Hardwick, England. Preparation works are underway for the new Universal Studios UK resort on the site of a former brickworks in Kempston Hardwick, south of Bedford. Thanks to the Labour government under Keir Starmer, this multi-billion-pound project will be the first Universal theme park in Europe. It is expected to create 20,000 jobs during construction and a further 8,000 once operational, while delivering a projected £50 billion boost to the UK economy. Slated to open in 2031, the park's proposed rides, entertainment venues, hotels and retail attractions are expected to draw up to 55,000 visitors per day.

while we don’t know for sure if the iPhone mirroring feature will come to the Apple Vision Pro, I sure hope it does. for now, it's available on Mac—i tested it and it's amazing! here’s how you can experience it on your Mac today: 1. make sure both your iPhone and Mac are running the latest beta versions of iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia. 2. position your iPhone near your Mac. 3. an icon titled "iPhone Mirroring" will appear on your Mac's Dock. 4. select the "Continue" button on your Mac. 5. unlock your iPhone when prompted. 6. on your Mac, click the "Get Started" button. 7. with your iPhone locked, open the "iPhone Mirroring" app on your Mac. this feature is a game-changer, and i can’t wait for the day it hopefully comes to the Vision Pro!
