Also there was no bottled water for Gen X. It was not a thing. Hydration was undervalued and the idea that you would pay for bottled water would get you laughed out of the room.

Btw, SoyBoy, it’s called a spigot 🚰 ! When you play outside tap water is much appreciated and if you’re lucky enough to have well water, you got ice cold water from the spigot!👊🏼

I remember my first swimming lesson. My Dad threw me in a pool (1976)and laughed as I nearly drowned. I'm a decent swimmer now😆
