I’ve always said I want to build my dream home on acres of land, no HOA, and no damn neighbors. I like my privacy and to be at peace 💆🏾♂️

Flash Shelton, an anti-squatting activist, reveals how squatters in California exploit tenant laws, blurring the lines between tenant rights and unlawful occupation. He shares strategies for dealing with squatters and the challenges homeowners face in reclaiming their properties.

I grew up in neighborhoods like that. Was glad for the hoa because if you didn’t you would have folks parking on thier lawns and having broke down cars in the driveway.

I support heavy restrictions on HOA fees they should only used or security guards, gates, clubhouses and pools, and shouldn’t be able to lose your house for not paying them and shouldn’t regulate anything within your property.

It ain’t about the rules . Those properties aren’t built to last long and bad plumbers. He literally trying to open yall eyes up. Old homes were built way better than today’s modern homes . Watch how much you come out of pocket just for plumbing issues within the first 2-3 years.

I happened to love being in a HOA community

I feel it. There’s pros and cons to HOA just like with anything else. Some are more harsher and strict and that’s what gives it a bad rap. Because what you mean i can’t have group gatherings? Some people weaponize HOA to their own benefit too. But it’s personal preference 🤷🏽♂️

People live in HOAs to avoid having to live next to obnoxious neighbors like him.

HOA is how white people became overseers of their housing complex.

HOA are annoying af. Pay all that money for a house and gotta ask for permission to remodel the exterior. Not to mention, they’ll fine you if you don’t meet their random demands. 😒

If you gone live that close might as well be in the city where you can live work and play. Why live in the middle of nowhere with no yard?
