I watched the patch notes video where they mentioned the update was needed because there's more medium penetration weapons than at launch, and all I could think was "but what about all the light pen weapons still in the game?"

You know how this could be fine, if they made the hive guard a bit bigger, maybe increase their health a bit, and reduced their spawns. It would make sense to have the ap4, and them being bigger made it easier to hit the body behind the armor plates.

They made this change specifically to fuck over the turrets. You play it the exact same way as before, it adds absolutely nothing to the game, the explosives that were already king in 90% of situations get better, it's just now your 2 min cooldown sentry is worthless. a shot of a crossbow is more valuable than an entire stratagem thanks to 1 common enemy that will appear and eat all its bullets because it isn't realistic to expect a gatling gun to have the firepower to kill a singular fat animal

They could’ve just had the hive guard use the same ai as warriors to prevent them from not moving which apparently is their big flaw behind that lead to this buff

Ok, why is the metal slab shield fully destructible now, but the basic bitch chitin faceplate is completely impervious? Arrowhead shills, make it make sense

armor should have a durability mechanic so that everything can be worn down with enough small arms fire. (Within reason though. Tanks and titans resistant to small arms).

Can't you just shoot around the armor though? I hate some of the changes in this update, but this feels like a non issue when you can just not shoot at a Hive Guard's armor. Like there's a whole ass bug there besides its front. I was playing today and barely felt a difference.

This happened with me and a Charger earlier. I unloaded 3 magazines of grenade launcher into its face as it stood there and ate every explosion and asked for more

Bro Joel gave the new bugs way too much meth, the amount of times I had 5 scavengers just flashpoint rush around me and trap me is crazy. They move so fast it looks comical.
