i think the lockpicking is bugged imo, cause im pretty sure that the pick isnt surposed to break or fail even it hits the top

because of how easy lockpicking was in skyrim i felt like it nearly deleted the purpose of unlock spells. once you get the hang of it, you could pick a very hard lock at level 1 in minimal breaks. oblivion makes it enough of a chore that i value having high level unlock spells
