@EssexgoonerMr Are you quite dim? This is gifted from Norway. In their traditional style But, then again, the right like Little Britain only. Pathetic "patriots"

@EssexgoonerMr Fucking hell... every year, it's a symbol and peace and friendship!!! How do you not know this, it's a natural tree gifted from Norway. If you dont know this then you're no patriot

@EssexgoonerMr Every year this type of tree is gifted from Norway in recognition of British help in liberating their country from the Nazis.

@EssexgoonerMr Been decorated the same way for many years and matches the Christmas tree in Norway where the tree was donated from Why don’t ’patriots’ understand British history and traditions?

@EssexgoonerMr @NorwayinUK - please excuse whining ingrates like @EssexgoonerMr; they repeat this shit every year and will forever more. The rest of us thank you.

@EssexgoonerMr Typical plastic patriot with no respect for this country and its traditions. This is a symbol of friendship from Norway, as it has been since 1947, for our support during WW2. If you don't like this country's traditions then get the fuck out.

@EssexgoonerMr Well done! You’ve such insulted all our Norwegian friends. Who express the gratitude every day for help we gave them during WWII. Hang your head in fucking shame!

@EssexgoonerMr It is a tree traditionally gifted from Norway as a thank you for the UK help in WW2. That’s no joke it’s British tradition.

@EssexgoonerMr Everything is bigger in America

@EssexgoonerMr Every year some twat complains about the tree we get given by Norway

@EssexgoonerMr I am so tired of disrespect from racists about our history and traditions. If you have an ounce of honour in you, you should delete this.

@EssexgoonerMr Maybe the plastic patriots would like an artificial one, it’s more in keeping with their values.

@EssexgoonerMr Just needs some flags

@EssexgoonerMr Here's Covent Garden just around the corner

@EssexgoonerMr You're an ignorant moron. It's a gift from Norway for our help in WW2, is a long standing tradition and decorated in the traditional Norwegian style. It's the twin of Oslo's main tree. Clown.

@EssexgoonerMr Populists are so flaky. It is a yearly gift from Norway since WW2 as a thank you and is decorated in the traditional Norwegian way. I thought you lot liked tradition…

@EssexgoonerMr This tree is given by the city of Oslo as a token of Norwegian gratitude to the people of London for their assistance during the years 1940-45. A tree has been given annually since 1947.

@EssexgoonerMr It is hard to believe that you are English. There are many Christmas trees in London. This specific one is gifted to London every year from Oslo as a thank you for the support of the UK to Norway during the Second World War. Perhaps you are a twat.

@EssexgoonerMr I see we have entered the "Policing christmas trees and how they look and what they are called" part of the Culture War calendar. What a fucking way to live.

@EssexgoonerMr The Christmas tree has always been decorated in the traditional Norwegian style since the tradition began in 1947. The decoration is specified and overseen by the City of Oslo’s own team who travel to London to decorate it, not by Westminster City Council or the Mayor of London.

@EssexgoonerMr Essex Bloke hates British traditions

@EssexgoonerMr I wonder how those criticising would feel if they chose a gift for someone with love & gratitude in their hearts, & went to the trouble of delivering it several hundred miles away, only for the receiver of that gift to mock it, say it's not good enough, & be totally ungrateful 🤔

As you know the tree is a gift from the people of Norway. An annual tradition going back to 1947 as gratitude for the UK’s support during WW2. That is how trees are dressed in Norway. Following tradition. If you want a more gaudy Xmas tree, you only have to go a few hundred yards to Covent Garden. 300,000 LED lights and 200 giant baubles. Both have their place. Just doesn’t fit your agenda.

@EssexgoonerMr It's from Norway ... a gift for our help in workd war 2 ... decorated the same way it was then... to remember the fallen...

@EssexgoonerMr You’re insulting our ally Norway you dipstick

@EssexgoonerMr You are the joke. You have shown what a prat you are.

@EssexgoonerMr This narrative sounds familiar… oh yes, we had it last year but the tree always looks like this as it is the traditional Norwegian way of decorating a Christmas tree.

@EssexgoonerMr Wait until you find out it has been exactly the same since just after WWII eh?!

@EssexgoonerMr Believe it was the same last year. Wouldn't it be great if it could be decorated properly, in secret.

@EssexgoonerMr the country is broke thanks to Brexit, patriots who voted for it said it was price worth paying for freedom and everyone must accept being poorer now 🤷

@EssexgoonerMr

@EssexgoonerMr Oh do shut up!! This is ONE OF MANY Christmas trees in London and this one in particular is given to London by Norway and decorated in the traditional way and is the same as the tree in Oslo. This tradition dates back to 1947 and is a thank you for WW2!!!!!

@EssexgoonerMr That’s really sad 😢

@EssexgoonerMr Fuck me, for people who bang on about tradition and WW2 you don't know this
