You absolute dumbass. The tree is a gift from the people of Oslo to the people of London and has been gifted since 1947. The tree is decorated in the same style as it is decorated in Oslo. It's called keeping tradition.

Meanwhile, outside a random shopping centre in Thailand

The Trafalgar Square Christmas tree is gifted by the city of Oslo every year since 1947. It is and has always been decorated in the traditional Norwegian style with 500 white lights. Here it is decorated exactly the same way in 2006 and 2008.

islamic London? what a joke you are. I was in London 2 weeks ago and the place is completely decked out in Christmas decorations and there's Christmas music playing everywhere. you're such a liar

A few of London’s trees

London isn't Islamic. And why not show the other Christmas trees in London?

So patriotic that you have no idea about the tradition of that tree

They hate us.

LOL

European civilization could disappear within the next 20 years if the continent fails to overcome its political divisions and reform its migration and demographic policies, according to the newly released U.S. National Security Strategy published by the White House.

So, you prefer it dressed up like a - excuse the old turn of phrase - tart’s boudoir? This isn’t just a Christmas tree, it also serves as a memorial to those who died in WW2. But you want to rip that all up, trample over tradition, I wonder why? The far right will destroy all

Only a matter of time

Haifa, Bethlehem, Jerusalem & Jaffa/Tel Aviv...

Thick as mince.

‘I’m Pippa, I like to piss on the memories of those who served, died and helped Norway in WW2’.

i think the christmas tree in london is the one norway gives us every year to thank the uk for helping in the war and they have a similar one there too

This is tragic. Not very patriotic of you having a go at a gift for helping out a nation’s monarch during ww2 is it?

“Islamic London”? Don’t be daft. Proportions of faiths in London (ONS) - Christian: 40.7 %. No religion: 27.1 %. Muslim: 15.0 %.

It's been the same style of tree, gifted by Norway, since 1947.

As a Norwegian i prefer the one in London. To much rgb in Poland , i like it simple. Also it seems they managed to transport the tree without damaging it too much , it has been really bad previous years .

Since 1942 😂😂😂😂

Nothing wrong with the Trafalgar Square tree, it looks exactly like the one in Oslo, as gifted by Norway

The "RETVRN TO TRADITION" losers when they see an actual tradition:

London is an embarrassment. It's not even so much that the tree is a bit tired, it's the fact that there's been no care or effort taken in decorating it. We should have more pride and show more respect to the people who gave us the tree. Shameful @MayorofLondon

Germany, NRW, Dortmund 😍😍😍

@Happyhammerwhu1 You’re a moron. Quit with your agenda and understand tradition. You’re so caught up in your nonsense that you have completely overlooked the tradition of this particular tree at this particular location. You should be embarrassed.

The tree looks like this since 1945 since it was a present from Norway. Why are you shitting on British traditions?

Norway gift the tree to us and we have used the same old style Christmas decorations since 1947. It’s supposed to look like that, to reflect the old days of how trees were decorated. Nothing to do with Islam

Only people who have zero understanding of christianity think: the bigger the tree the more christian. Btw learn about the history of the London tree.

That’s the one in Trafalgar Square. It’s done in the Norwegian style which is minimalist and has been since 1947. Check out some of the others around the city if you don’t like it. Covent Garden is especially nice this year I thought.

Oh Pippa do some learning, research the facts about the origin of the tree.

The problem isn't the tree, it's the lack of decorations and the shit lights

Wait for it! Annual #ragebait about the Christmas tree that is gifted to London by Norway every year.

Meanwhile in Germany
