The song was later covered by the British rock band Led Zeppelin for their 4th studio album, known as Led Zeppelin IV. The band brought a fresh air to the song with their approach, Bonham's drums, Page's heavy-driven electric boxes, John Paul Jones' unique bass lines, and Plant's unmatched vocals. It quickly became a fan favourite song. Then, in 1994, as you may know, Led Zeppelin was already a broke-up band, and Jimmy Page and Robert Plant released their live album "No Quarter Unledded". In this live album, they recorded some of the Led Zep songs and When The Leeve Breaks is one of them. The album's songs were recorded in Morocco, Wales and London occured on an MTV project called "Unledded". Robert Plant and Jimmy Page performing "When The Leeve Breaks" from Unledded in 1994.
