Well done Tadhg, let’s hope our ministers (@LeoVaradkar , @MichealMartinTD and @EamonRyan) on their travels abroad this weekend get a chance to see your passion and relay to foreign leaders what the ordinary Irish voter believes, that Hamas, in spite of all their faults, are still the democratically elected government of Gaza, doing their utmost to protect their people, who are receiving just lip service from the west, when the west should be 1. Ceasing arms sales to Israel 2. Imposing economic sanctions on Israel similar to those applied by Israel to Palestinians 3. Increasing the UNIFIL force to impose peace on the ground in Gaza and the West Bank 4. Funding the rebuilding of Gaza and 5. Ensuring Palestinian rights are no different to Israeli human rights throughout Israel and the other occupied territories.
