Today we're dropping the "beta" tag from Adaptyv, launching our new website and announcing our $8M seed round. When we started Adaptyv a few years ago, our core belief was: AI models for biology are only as good as the experimental data they're trained on and the hypotheses they can test in the real world. Now, after a year of working with many great partners, we’ve scaled our infrastructure to the point that we're now open to anyone who wants to use our platform! ✨ I revived my first AI startup from 6 years ago with Claude Code [ 💡 ] Back then it used GPT-3 (this was 2 years before ChatGPT existed!) to generate new startup ideas which then people can vote on And the best startup ideas rise to the top! Back then I made it because people complained they didn't have any ideas to build a startup This week I moved it to its own VPS and installed Claude Code and told it to fix everything, the DB had become big and there was stupid write operations on every page load that it made it very slow Claude Code is excellent at fixing all those small bugs from old projects and quickly fixing them As Garry Tan says "boil the oceans" as in before I'd not have the time to fix these kinds of projects, it wouldn't be worth it, I mean IdeasAI doesn't even make money, but now it takes me an hour to do this and it works again! I also upgraded GPT-3 to xAI's Grok 4.2 for new startup ideas

teleoperator kicking himself over not programming Asimov's Laws of Robotics... Worth considering if we should base today's reality on the science fiction musings from the past. Testing with humanoid robots is a very interesting new challenge. Historically robots have been confined to keep out zones with rigid walls and laser barriers, lock-out/tag-out, etc. This is the easy way to ensure people don't get hurt by very capable machines. But the more we integrate humanoid robotics into collaborative roles with humans the more we need to remove those barriers by nature of the work.

I tested my V02 max for the first time today: 🫀 57.4 ml/kg/min According to ChatGPT, that's the top 5–10% of men my age. The test was done in a lab using the Bruce protocol. Every 3 minutes, treadmill speed and incline increase: - stage 1: 4 km/h at 10% grade - stage 2: 5.5km/h at 12% - stage 3: 6.7 km/h at 14% - etc etc I passed out at the end of stage 5. It's just a horrible test because you're fighting inner demons to get a little farther. V02 max is a key biomarker in predicting longevity, so from now on, I'll focus my training on increasing that number.

2023 was the year of AI avatars 2024 was the year of AI photos 2025 was the year of AI videos And I think it's becoming clear now that 2026 will be the year of AI world models Fully interactive explorable 3d worlds generated from one or multiple 2d images or a prompt In turn these 2d images can then be generated by AI too So soon you can generate fully explorable virtual 3d worlds based on your own imagination Next will be figuring out how to make those worlds interactive This is World Labs (unaffiliated, but I like it) As always a lot of big AI model companies are now working on the same thing: 3d world models, only World Labs has a real properly working demo (for now) Very exciting time again!

I just built my own wiki generator plugin for my agents. My agents can now generate wikis for anything I ask. One of my favorite wikis is called PaperWiki. This is a great example of what Andrej Karpathy describes. It uses obsidian vaults to organize papers, retrieve LLM-generated summaries, diagrams, and other advanced views for paper exploration. When Obsidian UI is not enough, I use my own artifact generator inside my agent orchestrator (see clip for example). This allows my agents to build any kind of view or exploration feature that I need. The papers are all curated with automations and several rules/patterns I have manually built over the years. On the surface, this looks basic. But behind the scenes, there are advanced search capabilities, connections, metadata, derived data, and other interesting bits of information that are extremely useful for my research agents. This is mostly built for agents. The artifact preview is just a high-level way to validate and quickly assess the quality of the wiki, suggest improvements, and it's also great for research. I use tobi lutke's qmd for all search capabilities. Everything is markdown. The summaries and even the diagrams. The wiki updates on its own based on several automations I have optimized over the past couple of weeks. The wiki grows and self-improves based on several requirements important for my research use cases. This is as personalized as it gets. There is nothing like it out there. And I use my research expertise to continue improving it over time. This is a vanilla wiki. There are so many things I want to build on top of this. Different aggregations, views, artifacts, etc. All to help automate more of my research work and accelerate productivity. I think the biggest leverage here is how powerful this could be for discovery and experimentation. One of my goals is to use it to find deeper connections and insights that would otherwise elude the top human researchers and use those to generate interesting new hypotheses and research experiments. That way, my agents can use autoresearch to explore research ideas at the frontier. Stay tuned for more.

Regardless of what you think of Don Lemon and the whole ordeal with Elon Musk, I think this line from him should resonate with everyone. "Twitter or X is one of the biggest information platforms in the world. Why cede that platform to extremists? So I wanted to get on there and I wanted to fight it out so that everyone had a voice." Those on the left who stopped using X because they were angry that people on the right were saying things that they don't like, are playing into the hands of the people they disagree with. Regardless of what you think of Don Lemon and the whole ordeal with Elon Musk, I think this line from him should resonate with everyone. "Twitter or X is one of the biggest information platforms in the world. Why cede that platform to extremists? So I wanted to get on there and I wanted to fight it out so that everyone had a voice." Those on the left who stopped using X because they were angry that people on the right were saying things that they don't like, are playing into the hands of the people they disagree with. Instead these people should increase their usage of X in order to combat the narratives they dislike. That's how successful societies function. $I built a content engine that runs on telegram. Two commands... /discover: sends out to 9 sources across HackerNews, Reddit communities covering AI automation, prompt engineering, vibe coding, and specialist newsletters. Pulls everything published in the last 24 hours, runs each item through an AI extraction layer that scores it against 100+ niche keywords, deduplicates, and drops the relevant ideas into a Notion database. Takes about 90 seconds. Costs fractions of a cent. /ideas: this command pulls the top scored ideas from that database, randomizes the selection so you're not seeing the same ones every time, and sends them to you in a clean numbered list. You reply with /write 3 or whatever you choose, and the system researches the topic using Perplexity's live web search, generates three distinct outline options with different angles and hooks, saves them to a Google Doc, and sends you a message telling you they're ready. You read the outlines, and you pick one. You then reply with the command /outline 2. The system writes the full piece in your voice, following your brand guidelines, with specific examples and concrete claims. It can be done in under two minutes of your time. Made this commercial demo entirely with Seedance 2.0 via Yapper Everything you see here is done by one single prompt shot, from the cuts, edits, graphic effects, to the voice over. Basically within the prompt I gave detailed instructions on how many shots I wanted, the timestamps, the copywriting, visual and graphic effects, etc. The full prompt sample is available for my subscribers only in the comment section below ⏬ + + + There are so many use cases for Seedance 2.0 instead of just recreating existing IP. I think for me as a copywriter, what I like about it is that I can create a pre-visualization of an ad we're about to make, with its specific tone and style. Like I said before, the AI generated content here wasn't meant to be the final product, but rather a starting point for our creative direction regarding the potential style that will go into our ads. It's just that it's now so much faster to iterate ideas, and to test many different concepts with Gen-AI. Like I've always said, the technology is here, and it's up to you how you want to use it.

One way to get rid of an underground (or wall void) Yellow Jacket or Wasp Nest: Rodent Glue Boards One of the problems in dealing with wasps, hornets and yellow jackets is treating the nest, even if you know where it is. It’s sometimes hard to get near them to treat without getting stung. One quick way to get rid of them is to set a glue board near the nest entry and get just ONE caught on it. I usually put a small raw piece of chicken. They’ll get stuck and start stinging the glue board along with releasing attack pheromones. The massive pheromone release will draw other members of the colony to the glue board. They in turn get stuck, start trying to sting the glue board and release more pheromones. Pretty quickly you’ll have drawn the entire colony out and they will all get stuck and meet their demise on the glue board. Side note: you will have to draw the first few to the glue board with a some type of food they like. Any type of grilled meat like burger, chicken or a piece of a hot dog works. A small piece of sliced lunch meat like ham also works. That’s why you always see them coming around your outdoor family reunion feast. They love that food. Keep in mind, if you disturb a nest of yellow jackets with a mower, or a child pushes on a small log with them in it, they will k*ll you. Anaphylactic shock, airway constriction, cardiovascular collapse. They are a public health threat and it’s totally okay to rid the world of these things. (Don’t mess with the bees though) If this method doesn’t work for you, the best product I’ve used to treat them from far away is Wasp Freeze by BASF. Also, the hanging yellow stinging insect traps are very effective as well.
