Jayapal: It is an increase in ICE funding. The reason people are saying it isn’t is because the CR from last year had an anomaly—a one-time funding amount of $485 million. If you add that into the base-year funding and look at this year, there is a $115 million decrease, but that was one-time anomaly funding. The core issue here is that there really are no guardrails on ICE and CBP. I can’t vote for it. I can’t be complicit in continuing to allow them to violate the constitutional rights of people across this country.

Whoever tells you that Wike’s work rate as FCT Minister is overhyped has never lived in Abuja. This is the road to Deda Hospital in Jahi/Katampe, one of the best hospitals in Abuja. I almost withdrew my wife’s antenatal services from the hospital because of the slow pace of the road construction. Today, I can get to this hospital in 10 minutes from my residence. Those of you expecting Wike to initiate new projects immediately after inheriting a city that looked like an abandoned site are certified clowns.

Nashville Meat n’ Three! Arnold’s is the place and from the moment we walked in the door, boss man Khalil Arnold made us feel at home. Not only that, he gave us a free pancake - which is the best I’ve had in my life - but when he found out I hadn’t yet had one of his biscuits and gravy, he refused to let me leave until we had tried one. This is some of the best food we’ve had in America, hands down. If you are anywhere within the vicinity, go to Arnold’s!

The Furious is one of the best films of 2026. I have this currently ranked within my 10 best films of the year & I think this is proper Cinema. Other than John Wick, I can’t think of an action film with better choreography than this in recent memory. I didn’t catch this in theaters - only on streaming - but even from home, I found the experience memorable. Try this film on for size if you haven’t seen it yet.
