Look at this precious little one. Mine always cried during baths. I never thought to swaddle them before putting them in the water. This is actually brilliant. New mommas, take note. 🥰

that's ridiculous, would you take a shower with clothes on ?? I bathed all of mine in the kitchen sink naked and they were fine..... have the water temp right and hold them right - Mom's today are just absolutely weird, bathe them with clothes on ??

Mine hated baths the first two times, then I started using a hooded baby towel to wrap around him in the water. It provides that comfy secure feeling of being swaddled while also making it easy to open one side of the towel at a time & wash with a washcloth. He LOVES baths now.

My daughter loved baths! She slapped the water like crazy it was messy.

Mine did when they were older but not this little, they were always freezing.

I had one that cried during baths. A tummy rub worked. It puts them in a familiar position, similar to swaddling. He is a teen now and a great swimmer!

When I had my oldest daughter 1980, there was no such thing as swaddling

I (dad) have done 99% of baths for all of my babies. Rarely any tears

I ain’t patience for this, bath the baby already

We bathed our lil one for the first time this week and put a hand towel on his chest while pouring water over him. Worked great too! He did cry when we got him out though 😆

How did I not think of this😍 I had a mini desk heater that blew the perfect temps while my cubs bathed/got moisturized and it got the same result. I loved their little smiles from being relaxed🥰

I always showered with my babies when they were little. I did chest to chest and sat in the shower and let the water fall on us. One of my favorite bonding experiences. Very peaceful for us. They’re all older now and LOVE anything water. Little fishes!

How do you get anything clean? Like under the arms, between the legs, all the folds. This is like just rinsing them off rather than cleaning them.
