I’ve seen so many posts criticizing the Trump admin for supporting the Orban government in Hungary because of Orban’s relationship with Putin. But when you look at the opposition in Hungary and what they stand for, you suddenly understand it far better. HABIT MATH: I do a 3-minute deep squat every morning, no exceptions. Those last two words are crucial. Everyone has 3 minutes to spare—but it’s SOOO easy to skip a day. Then two. Individually, those days don’t matter. But over the course of a year, 3 minutes a day adds up to 18 hours. It’s the difference between improvement (in your ankles, knees, hips, and lower back) and decline. Look, I’m the least structured, least rigid person you follow. I don’t keep a schedule or budget. I play everything by ear. But when it comes to habits, I’m hard core. You have to be if you want the result. (My rule is no coffee until the squat is done. And nothing stands between me and my morning brew.)

Watching this clip again suddenly reminded me of that incident : when Ling didn’t like Orm’s photo for six straight days, and Orm had to go live just to clarify that she and the other person were “ just friends ” 😂🤭☺️ If you still remember this, you must be a long time fan, right? 😂 1/9/2024: Orm went live to clear things up 2/9/2024: Orm successfully made up with her older girlfriend 😌😍 Back then, both Ling and Orm spoke up to clear things up whenever rumors popped up about them having a boyfriend or a girlfriend ( one even posted a clarification in three languages, while the other went live to explain everything clearly. ) The funny part is, when people started speculating that LingOrm were a couple, that they were each other’s girlfriends and actually dating…. the two of them stayed completely silent : no statements, no denials at all 😚😚😚 #LingOrm #หลิงออม

This guy built a visual scanner that reads 468 points on his face and 42 points on his hands from a regular webcam and turns them into a cloud of thousands of particles right between his palms. Inside, MediaPipe and TouchDesigner are linked: the first captures hands and face from the webcam with high accuracy, the second turns those coordinates into a live plane and feeds it into a POP system that instantly generates a swarm of particles in the shape of a head. No studio, no render farmer, no VR headset. Just a laptop, a webcam, and 1 TouchDesigner session. And traditional VJ studios keep teams of 5 people on a setup with lighting, custom hardware, and commercial plugins, while his expenses are only a TouchDesigner subscription and a regular USB camera. One laptop runs MediaPipe and TouchDesigner simultaneously, holds the camera stream at 60 FPS without drops, and in parallel processes 468 face points + 21 points on each hand. The camera captures frame after frame, MediaPipe in real time sends TouchDesigner the finger coordinates and face geometry, and the POP operator inside the engine translates those numbers into thousands of particle points with colors from bright pink to gold. This isn't a Mouse - it's a Portal. I remain in my conviction that people in the City are semi-comatose, not noticing things around them. Hell, they don't even look at the sky. This seems crazy as we are hard-wired to notice things around us, to perceive and interpret clues and signals - this necessary for our hunter-gatherer ancestors to survive. The City is a great place for the reason that when you go to or view things 'off the beaten track' things reveal themselves - nature, secrets, and stories. Many of these things are actually in the open but under the radar of the city person. I realised years ago that when I'm down in the London Underground, if I look at the far track for a few minutes, a mouse going about its business is likely to appear. The far track means it is hidden from the people on the crowded platform. Just-wait-long-enough. Sure enough, I filmed for a few seconds and a furry critter appeared to order, like magic. When you open your eyes portals reveal themselves. They take you to another world. It seems even more magical when it's just you viewing it. A world within a world, for your privilege. For a few seconds, in this case, the people on the platform faded into the background and the wild and the oceanic appeared. These portals are the Perfect Moments I talk about.

We’ve seen guys like Judge, Stanton, Wells and others tinker with their stances to get into a better hitting position to attack strikes in the zone. When a guy like Volpe has struggled to hit consistently for his first 3 years, is constantly late on mid-velocity heaters in the middle of the zone and is constantly off-balance when he misses the off-speed stuff; you think to take a look at his pre-pitch habits especially what he’s doing with his hands and stride, and consider eliminating some of the unnecessary movements to simplify things and be ready to attack a pitch in the strike zone sooner. Volpe starts with his hands high above his head with some waggle to probably keep his hands moving and stay in rhythm, then as he strides he drops his hands into the slot while he loads, then wraps his hands behind him as he strides and keeps his weight back on his backside. That front foot needs to get down early as he gets his hands back to be ready to smoke something in the zone. Why hasn’t someone suggested dropping his hands pre-pitch in his stance to get them into the slot early, keep them back to prevent wrapping, and cut out one less moving part to get him better ready to attack pitches in the zone? He can even still have some waggle back there if he prefers to keep his hands moving. In theory if his hands are down and back already, all he needs to do is get his front foot down in time? It’s worth a try lol

Jessica Tarlov then asked him, “How did you know they were illegal?" Watters responded, “You can tell. Trust me.” This is propaganda. You can’t tell the difference between illegal immigrants and legal immigrants. The vast majority of immigrants entering legally or illegally are coming here because they want to make a life for themselves and their families. They want the same opportunities that we have from birth. When you are on the top, it’s easy to be king of the hill. It’s easy to demonize, criticize and stigmatize those who are trying to reach where you are at. Deep down most of us want the same things. Just because your ancestors immigrated here a little sooner doesn’t give you a right to treat them like crap. There are no easy answers to the immigration problem, but treating them any less humane than we want to be treated just wrong.

And while so many of you are treating the fanchant like it‘s a way to give “credit” (which isn’t the purpose of a fanchant AT ALL) I hope the majority remember what ENHA themselves shared in the Blood Saga behinds. They talked about how intense the preparation for this tour was—from having to rearrange songs, relearn formations and rework choreography. These 6 poured their blood, sweat, and tears into making sure ENGENEs would have an amazing experience despite everything that has happened these past few months. Put fanwars, engagement, and number games aside. When you walk into that venue and see those 6 giving everything they have on stage, I hope it reminds you that the least we can do is respect and support the current lineup in front of us.

And while so many of you are treating the fanchant like it‘s a way to give “credit” (which isn’t the purpose of a fanchant AT ALL) I hope the majority remember what ENHA themselves shared in the Blood Saga behinds. They talked about how intense the preparation for this tour was—from having to rearrange songs, relearn formations and rework choreography. These 6 poured their blood, sweat, and tears into making sure ENGENEs would have an amazing experience despite everything that has happened these past few months. Put fanwars, engagement, and number games aside. When you walk into that venue and see those 6 giving everything they have on stage, I hope it reminds you that the least we can do is respect and support the current lineup in front of us.

Added context to my tiny diffusion model to enable sequential generation of longer outputs! Currently the context is a quarter of the sequence length (seq_len=256, context_len=64). I have a theory that the less semantic-value-per-token, the worse the “curse of parallel decoding” is. With parallel decoding, we independently predict multiple tokens in one step. With the sentence “My poker hand was a ___ ___”, two valid predictions are “two pair” and “straight flush”. Because each token prediction is independent though, we can end up with a nonsensical output like “two flush”. This seems to be exacerbated with low semantic-value-per-token, as now you need more tokens to express the same concept. Instead of needing to independently predict two tokens, we might need to predict 10 instead (which is of course much harder). The model currently has noticeably worse output compared to nanogpt (similar size) and I believe this is a main reason. I’ll try adding confidence-aware parallel decoding (from NVIDIA’s Fast-dLLM paper) and other tricks and see how much they improve generation quality.

In this clip High School Children in Kassala, Eastern Sudan are out furiously protesting the fall and genocide of Al Fashir. Sudanese are repeatedly lectured that they must simply accept they have to co-exist with this UAE sponsored genocidal militia that its dismantlement is “unrealistic” with those who call for it demeaned as “War mongers”. The same people who tell Sudanese that they must surrender would be outraged if you suggested Ukrainians do the same. Claude Monet painted the same stretch of cliff more than ninety times. The place is Étretat, a small fishing village on the coast of Normandy, where the chalk cliffs fall into the sea in great arches and a single spire of rock, the Aiguille, stands alone in the water. Monet had known the place since childhood. He grew up in Normandy, and these cliffs were among the first landscapes he ever saw... He returned to paint them again and again. He worked through the 1880s in front of the same rock formations, and across that time he produced more than ninety canvases of them: the cliffs at dawn, at sunset, under storm, under calm, in winter light and in the gold of a clear evening. In his letters to Alice, the woman he would later marry, he described the agony of it: the weather turning, the tide rising, the sun moving, the colour he had begun to capture vanishing before he could finish. He often worked on several canvases at once, switching between them as the conditions changed, racing each one against the hour. In a letter to his friend Frédéric Bazille he wrote: "It is beautiful here in Etretat. Every day I discover even more beautiful things. It is intoxicating me, and I want to paint it all, my head is bursting. I want to fight, scratch it off, start again, because I start to see and understand. It seems to me as if I can see nature and I can catch it all." The cliffs of Étretat had stood for millions of years and would look, to most people, the same on any given day. Monet saw that they were never the same even for two minutes. He stood on that shore and tried to hold, on canvas, something that exists only for an instant and then is gone forever. And that's exactly what those paintings really are: 90 attempts to keep a single, vanishing moment of light from disappearing. As Dylan Thomas once wrote: "Do not go gentle into that good night. Been wandering around Dallas for 2 years without a car, basically living on savings. I’ve made like not even 20,000 in over 2 years, but actually I’ve never felt better about myself in my life. (Don’t tell my Mom she’ll worry) But I don’t care. I’m lost in the forest and I don’t even know what’s going to happen. My lease is up in 3 months and I don’t even have proof of income to move anywhere. I’m trusting everything will happen exactly how it’s supposed to Been doing the yoga @yogazama consistently and I’m telling you I’m living proof it works, I quite literally feel like a snake shedding its skin. Come check it out here plus all the classes are great. My last download I want to share is that I remember why we are here. Look at a sunset, a leaf, a creek, a body of water. Touch the nature. Look into the clouds. That experience, That’s the REAL YOU. I remember being in my 1st grade class seeing pictures of people around the world holding hands in peace, love, unity and respect. Then you grow up and wonder what the hell is happening in this world? People are stressed from working 24/7 plus all the other mistreatment. I’ve made my mistakes too we all have and will continue to make mistakes. BUT I remember that we are supposed to give more than we receive. I remember that we are supposed to lend a helping hand to all. I remember that we are supposed to love each other thru our differences, I know that we are all ONE. I remember that we are here to bring HEAVEN to EARTH. The Courage, the Creativity, the Power, the Love, the Truth, the Wisdom, and the LIGHT in me Honors and Bows down to the Courage, the Creativity, the Power, the Love, the Truth, the Wisdom, and the Light in each of you.
