I am not against the NO TIP wage for restaurants ppl but then STOP ASKING OR SHOWING US FOR 15% 20% 30% TIP PAGE on electronic pad or on the receipt...

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there does it make a sound? If the one fair wage ordinance happens and 50% of the restaurants close or move to the burbs does anyone make one fair wage.

It should become law that anyone in public office who make fiscal decisions federally and state/local should have a degree in economics. They would know how to run a balanced budget. And spend efficiently which is deflationary.

Asked about the City Council seeking to freeze the gradual phaseout of the subminimum wage, Mayor Brandon Johnson mentioned "black and brown women" and, of course, "slavery." Though 5,200 restaurant jobs were lost, and 100 restaurants closed in one year under One Fair Wage, Johnson claimed none of the dire predictions over the ordinance had been born out. Brandon Johnson is a bewildered and clueless man.
