If your lead arm breaks down in the backswing, it’s not your arm's fault, it’s your body's. #golf

Do not force your left arm straight when starting the backswing. Focus on correctly turning your upper body and hinging your wrists. #golf

The biggest golf swing mistake isn't your grip. It isn't your takeaway. It isn't your tempo. It's standing up too early. Keep your spine angle. Stay in your posture. Rotate through the ball. Better contact. More distance. More consistency. Master the fundamentals. The results will follow. ⛳🏌️

Not making great contact? Losing posture in your swing? Topping or thin irons or woods? Standing up in your backswing? Here is a great drill to clean that up. The arms go up in the swing not the body. You may need to feel yourself staying down as the weight of your arms and

Width and body turn are really important in the backswing. Many ams think they have a full turn only because the club gets to parallel but in reality, they barely get any turn. It’s a lot of “fake” turn. First swing is a demonstration of how it can look like the club gets to parallel but with small body turn. When I “unfold” my arms, the club is only at hip length. The second is the opposite. Some think I’m trying to keep a short backswing when in actuality my body is turning really full with width and no wrist cock. I can get to “parallel” really easily with some wrist cock.

Best Backswing Drill… This is my favorite drill to improve upper body rotation at the top of the golf swing: 1. Make a backswing and stop when you feel you have reached the top. 2. Take your lead hand off the club and push the grip as far away from your back shoulder as

🎯If you focus too much on the tip of your pen, it can sometimes shorten the length of your strokes, which in turn narrows the field of view you should be aware of.

"Cupping" your left wrist in the backswing feels supportive — but it's a slice-causing mistake. Your left hand's back should feel empty, not bent.✅ Fix your backswing, not your compensations. 🎯⛳

3 great mobility moves here to help you make a fuller turn in your golf swing ⛳️🧘‍♀️😎 Comment “Senior” for my FREE short ebook on fitness training for the senior golfer 🙌 As we age we lose range of motion, strength + explosiveness and so senior golfers in particular need to be working on all these areas 🏋️‍♂️ A shorter swing arc is a big contributing factor towards losing distance and these 3 simple mobility moves from home can be a great starting point to help you regain some rotation, length and width in your swing 👌
