As promised, I open-sourced the app. Introducing Inka: AI Daily Journal for BOOX devices → ← It started as an experiment: a simple screen where you can write anything and the page writes back. I showed it to my son and he absolutely loved it. Then I realized I could turn this into a daily journal app, where you can write down your thoughts and get answers back. It's low-bandwidth communication, yes. But that's a feature, not a bug. I find myself focusing much better while drawing _random_ things on paper. And so I turned the one-screen experiment into a full app. You can configure the AI provider, persona, writing animation, handwriting font & style and even an experimental handwriting synthesis for a more realistic feel. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Claude released a new design feature that's great for iOS app design. So I extracted the code and skills and turned it into a skill that can be used by any agent. Since Codex has comments and web preview built in... it works basically the same. (Oh and you can use claude 4.7 if you think it's better at design)

Hacking a Polaroid printer with Codex: the printer didn't have a Mac app or any way to connect to a laptop, so I got Codex to reverse engineer the bluetooth connectivity and build a native swift app. We then also built a Codex skill to get it to print something fun. With coding assistants you can now avoid being stuck with badly design native software, but build something yourself that you'll like and enjoy - whether it is a printer, digital photo frame or some other IoT device gathering dust around the house. It is really not that hard to do anymore.

Today, we launched browser use inside Codex to further close the build & verify loop for local development! Now, you can ask Codex to build your front end, and test it like a user would by clicking through the app. Codex sees everything a user sees through vision & checks the network/console logs to help debug & fix any issues that it finds. This change brings us closer to fully autonomous coding agents that delivers high quality and tested changes. Simply tell the AI about your requested changes and it whip together the code additions Watch how I add a timer and gamification for each task to a basic todo app 👇 The possibilities are now truly limitless - instead of just making the app and getting it right once, you can now keep iterating until you get what you want. One step closer to the vision of turning 2077 into the most powerful - and fun - coding engine in crypto!

This is it, native PCVR on MacOS! The OpenXR SDK can be compiled on MacOS, So I implemented a runtime and a streaming app. Godot supports OpenXR on MacOS so I use it to test my integration. Unity could work too and of course native C++. 1/x

Wow very easy to create a Codex Site with a Convex DB that your agent can write to. You can make a todo list app that is hosted on Codex Sites, then tell Codex to make a skill that allows the agent to WRITE/EDIT to that todo list db. And then in any chat you can add to your list. Here's example.
