Tony not blowing up the car after seeing the woman and kids inside is the moment you realise there was still something human left in him. By that point, Tony had become consumed by power and violence. He’d crossed so many lines that you almost expect him to go through with it. But seeing the children in the backseat, he can’t do it. What makes the scene hit so hard is that Tony isn’t backing out from fear. He just can’t murder innocent kids for business. In his world, killing rivals was one thing; killing a family in broad daylight was another. That choice costs him everything. Refusing Sosa’s order puts the target on his back. Man, we used to be SPOILED with such amazing power forwards in the league. Chris Webber was such a SPECIAL talent. He doesn’t get talked about enough, so I will do the talking 🗣️🗣️🗣️ He was ahead of his time because he could pass, he had a 3 point shot (he was shooting 40%+ from three early in his career but not taking many), and he could drive to the basket- in an era where a lot of power forwards didn’t really have a perimeter game. He was a top 10 power forward in the league for most of his career and a top 5 power forward for a long time too. Keep in mind that was in an era where he was matching up with Garnett, Tim Duncan, Nowitzki, Rasheed Wallace, and late-career Karl Malone. He played against many of the all time great PFs and held his own🔥
