Luca Thomas; Class Act 👌 Just 21yo - He’s made an excellent decision to step down a level, 22 goal contributions before December is just outstanding. Clinical, creative, dynamic + technically gifted.

Abdul El-Sayed: “The whole Trump show is just an act. There is no actual coherence about the use of words. He’s a meglomaniacal asshole who thinks he’s a king. When we win, we are gonna hold him accountable for the $2.2B he and his kids have made off the presidency. That’s an insane level of grift”

I've made a conscious decision to step away from sectarian drivel, but this one is just too hard to digest. Literalism is a sign of low intelligence, you really should be able to understand the concept of a metaphor in an analogy. Only young children the intellectually challagened interpret everything literally.

Actor Brian Cox didn’t mince words about Donald Trump: “He’s nuts. He’s mad. He’s unpleasant. Being around him made me want to take a shower. Just a deeply unpleasant aura.” Cox went further, pointing to Trump’s upbringing and calling him an abused child shaped by a brutal family dynamic. Not excusing him, but explaining the damage. Nobody is born a monster, Cox said, but some people grow into one.

Rob Markman gives an excellent perspective on XXL freestyles and says they should continue to exist: “They are not expecting the whole Freshman class to [rap like] Lupe Fiasco… What they require from you, more than just bars, is a level of preparation…If melody is your thing…give the best melodic performance that you can.” Rob Markman 💭

Cole Palmer was outstanding against Fulham His movement was sharp and intelligent — constant scanning, half-turns to receive on the move, and clever positioning between the lines that created space for João Pedro and Morgan Rogers. On the ball he was clinical and creative: the perfectly weighted flick that released João Pedro for the opener after just 31 seconds, an inventive pass that helped set up Rogers’ debut goal, and the calm nutmeg finish for his own strike. A complete, confident masterclass that made him the standout performer.

Caught the Marlins game the other night to check out this talent, and he did not disappoint. I originally planned to record his on-deck routine just for my guys, but this is something every hitter needs to see. Being a good hitter is about so much more than just having a nice swing. Watch the preparation before the at-bat—he’s locked in, timing every pitch, getting his foot down early, and sticking to a plan. If you step in the box without an approach, you’re already behind. Preparation is performance.

This isn’t just about GST or Made in India anymore. Look at the timing. Listen to the words. He’s using tariff, H1B etc not as problems, but as fuel. A spark to drive reform. The goal is: build an India, so self-reliant, that none of this can shake us.

🚨 Dimitar Berbatov: “I saw Benjamin Šeško’s goal against Aston Villa and I just smiled… that moment when he BAMBOOZLES his way to the ball, it’s pure instinct, pure class. One second he’s not there, the next — goal. That’s not luck, that’s the mark of an elite striker. United finally have a striker who thinks faster than everyone else on the pitch and decides the ending before anyone else reacts.” #MUFC

.Vivek Ramaswamy ends the Republican debate with a message to the Democrat Party: “End this farce that Joe Biden is going to be your nominee. We know he’s not even the President of the United States. He’s a puppet for the managerial class. So have the guts to step up and be honest about who you’re actually going to put up so we can have an honest debate. Biden should step aside and end his candidacy now so we can see whether it's Newsom, Michelle Obama, or whoever else. Just tell us the truth so we can have an honest debate.”

A Most Wanted Man was Philip Seymour Hoffman’s final performance as a leading man. While he made other on-screen appearances around this time, this turned out to be PSH’s last big part. And boy, is it fucking great. Hoffman plays a German intelligence agent trying to hunt down a terrorist. I love the creative swings Hoffman took in this performance, including his accent. It’s just another reminder of how excellent this guy was his entire career. 🎂

I am introducing legislation to ban insider trading on prediction markets by federal government officials. An anonymous trader made over $400,000 betting on the fall of Nicolás Maduro, with the final wager suspiciously placed just hours before the event transpired. The mere possibility that a government official could have profited from insider information is reason enough for Congress to act. And act it must.

Violet Myers says she quit college and flew to Florida the next day to start a career she never thought she’d pursue. Violet Myers: “I went outside my comfort zone and flew to Florida to start my career. Even for me, it was kind of like, ‘I made it.’” “I was in college. I had a goal. I wanted to be a clinical psychologist.” “But I said, ‘I’m just gonna fly.’ And I flew the next day.” “I didn’t go to school. I just quit and decided to do this. And that’s when I knew, ‘I have to make it.’” Kazumi: “Porn changes your life, whether you’re big or not. You don’t know if you’re big until you step back.” Violet: “Sometimes I wish I didn’t do it. Because I would just be an OF girl and kind of an influencer.” “But I want people to see us for more than just sexual beings. Everyone’s sexual. We’re breaking the stereotype. That’s always been my goal.”

Eli Junior Kroupi is the most obvious striker signing for Arsenal this summer. I genuinely don’t think any other club should even be competing with Arsenal for his signature at this point, he’s already an Arsenal hero. Kroupi profiles more as a traditional goal-poaching number 9 than a second striker or false 9. Low centre of gravity, physically robust, excellent in tight spaces, strong ball retention, elite finishing, and outstanding ball striking from different angles. He draws comparisons to Sergio Agüero. As things stand, he’s already a top 3 pure finishers in the Premier League at just 19 years old, and he’s still far from his peak. This will be Arsenal’s striker for the next decade.

This is the earliest known video of Jeff Bezos. He’s 30. Unknown. Standing in a tiny room in Seattle in 1994. No hype. No predictions. No guru act. Just a young man pointing at his desk, a fax machine, and an orange extension cord because the room doesn’t have enough power - before the world decided to listen. Rare footage.
