Lynette Hooker's husband was spotted living a quiet, seemingly unbothered life in northern California — walking dogs, sipping coffee in his garage, sifting through trash on the side of the road — four months after his wife vanished from their sailboat in the Bahamas. Brian Hooker, 58, was seen... by Fox News Digital outside a home in Citrus Heights, about 15 miles northeast of Sacramento. He told investigators Lynette fell from a dinghy while the couple was returning to their sailboat, named Soulmate, during a vacation in April. He was initially detained and questioned by Bahamian authorities, then released. He has not been accused of any crime. Fox News Digital cameras captured Hooker over the weekend walking two small dogs, taking strolls through the neighborhood, and at one point sifting through roadside trash and walking away with items. He appeared relaxed — wearing a brown hat and khaki shorts in one shot, and a "Stranger Things" Hellfire Club graphic tee while drinking coffee in his garage in another.

Hooker may be staying with a family member in Citrus Heights. He was also seen walking out of a store with his Marine Corps tattoo on full display. Lynette, originally from Michigan, went missing during the couple's April sailboat vacation in the Bahamas. Her daughter and the rest of her family have been waiting months for answers.

When Fox News Digital asked Lynette's mother Darlene Hamlett about the sighting, she said simply: "I just want the truth to be told and justice for my daughter Lynette."
