As I said in another thread on this clip. Guld knows he has no weapons other than himself. I love that the Ghost is fleeing, it realizes what Guld means to do. It cannot beat him in combat and is panicking here.

This era of anime literally ruined me for anything else that came after. I try and can’t get into 90% of stuff cause I was so spoiled by amazing stuff like this.

We were SO lucky to get this in the states. I remember this scene used to be partially cut from the movie edition but I think the extended release fixed that. So so epic. I have the Chogokin YF-19 on my shelf right now. Much love.
