Quite possibly the worst franchise mode of the modern era with these bugs. I can’t even fathom how some of this made it past testing

I had Patrick Mahomes retiring after season 2 lol, kinda kills the realism

Dak literally retires after year 1 in EVERY franchise

Crazy how it’ll never be fixed, makes the rebuilds annoying I’m sure, and the F/A signing is brutal to watch lol

ik im prob in minority but i dont mind a little bit of randomness in franchise, especially from rb position, obv can use a little tweaking esp for qbs and maybe a few skill positions but i mean rbs deteriorate quickly which madden has never shown until this year

Josh Allen retired from mine after year 2. What a game they’ve made this year. Zero testing in franchise mode before release

NBA 2K franchise mode lets you override players who announce their retirement, insane that Madden has never added on that feature

Madden/CFB has an EA problem

My only thought is that players are signing unreasonably large contracts and in order for teams to fit inside the cap space it force retires large contract players. Idk though

It's not more wild than Andrew Luck retiring out of the blue, don't act like it doesn't happen in real life. Polk literally retired after joining the Saints in his 2nd NFL season THIS year.

Madden 27 has a huge gameplay and simulation and logic problem aka the whole game is a huge problem

They saw Drew Dalman retire and think every player does that

I had TJ Watt retire after the first year in my Steelers franchise

More like it has about 72 problems contracts way to more players retiring to early. Player development is ridiculous partly because of their roster being so horribly scaled just to high. Honestly I wonder if madden would be much better if they released a new one every other year.

Im having guys retire between 6-10 years, ridiculous, only reason some others didn't retire is because I went thru and lowered thier ages lol

Yeah legit just happened to me wtf

I had deandre swift retire after ONE season for my bears franchise.

This isn't a bug, it's a feature. You kids wanted a new Franchise mode and you got it. Now realistic things like players retiring early will happen. You as the GM must now navigate that just like a real GM. Almost like that's the fucking point. You kids don't get it

it's not working as intended and a fix is coming

But why? Cause a small amount of internet children are complaining?

Because it’s not functioning as intended Thought I mentioned that

How is that even possible lmao

I have settings set to Manual and for some reason the computer keeps extending players I don’t want to extend big contracts and it just drills me with no cap space and cap penalties

Burrow retired after an MVP season (I’m 3 years in)

The Niners lose half their roster within 3 years due to this shit.

mahomes retired in year 3 of my franchise💀 like wtf

I can’t listen right now but if you disable career clock does that change it at all?

Like if there were cool story lines attached it wouldn’t be as bad. Like so and so suffered a career ending injury type of thing and was forced to retire. I mean look what just happened to Nick Chubb. It’s not unheard or at the RB position.

Drew dalman just did that tbf

Oh look… another problem lol 😂 Wish we can do something as a community to end this exclusivity with ea and the nfl. This sucks..

The gameplay has improved but everything went to shit! 🤣🤦🏻♂️

Damn

Breece hall retired early in mine after six seasons

There has always been a huge retirement problem 😅 Dating back to Madden 2004. Not to mention the crazy attribute regression for aging

TJ Watt retired after the first season

madden has a contract issue to

Not buying this game until they figure out the franchise issues

If the franchise mode were more realistic we would play it more often and then EA would make less on micro transactions. They make it worse than it has to be on purpose.
