You can tell the later DiC and CINAR Madeline TV cartoons took some inspiration from this short, particularly the way the backgrounds crossfade inbetween scenes but the characters don't.

This brought me back to my 80s preschool days watching this on Pinwheel.#pinwheel

My sister and I watched this constantly as kids. I adored it.

my grandma introduced me to this 22 years ago because my name is madeline. she’s in the hospital now with dementia with very few moments left im so grateful for her and the never ending love she showed and gave me. i hope to make her proud someday <3
