A Long Island motorist has filed a lawsuit against the Suffolk County Police Department alleging he was beaten during a traffic stop in Medford. According to the lawsuit, after requesting a supervisor and refusing to exit his vehicle before speaking with one, an officer allegedly entered the car and punched him multiple times before officers forcibly removed and arrested him. The motorist claims he suffered a concussion, two black eyes, and other injuries. He was charged with traffic violations and resisting arrest.
