Magia Record is so overhated

Wtf r u on about I seen more people love it than hate it (cough cough tiktok users who refuse to read the game that gives their favs more character development and a better ending then whatever slop that ending was)

I've always seen people say that Magia Record isn't worth watching because it's not as good as PMMM, that it's badly written, etc. Like, I genuinely don't think I've seen anyone praise this show

The show is better written than pmmm That's just cope But i see so many anirecord fans complain when someone asks them to read magia record for the excuse of it being so long even with arc 2 being better written than both pmmm and anirecord

Hmm, I disagree, personally. As much as I enjoyed Magia Record, I wouldn't say that it's better written than PMMM. I feel the show's pacing was pretty bad, and the finale also felt very rushed. I wish they expanded more upon the character of Kuroe, and didn't kill her off in the-

way they did. They also could've done more with Alina, instead of having her show up and get defeated in the last 10 minutes of the show. There's probably more that I'm forgetting, but it's been a while since I've watched it

@279Youtoo35246 As much as the anime did a last minute flop (among a bunch of other stuff like make Alina just insane and not unhinged but has a lot going on), the game story is excellent and well worth the watch if you ever feel up to it. Very long, but a masterpiece (arc 2 my beloved)

I want to catch up on all existing Madoka lore, so I'll definitely be checking out the game, as well as Exedra, the various manga and novels, etc.

I don't think anirecord is bad at all. I think it's just how rushed it got because I literally loved it at the first season but it went crashing down by the end.

@magicwonder19 I love Magia Record Gaiden, its just they rushed it horrendously. Why tf is season 3 not season 2? Those left over episodes did not do it justice.

Ima throw my own two cents in, animation wise Magia Record is really good same with the story and characters Season one is mid especially the finale but that’s my only complaint

As the game player, it deserved the hate

As a person who played the mobile game and read the 10 chapters of the main story i can say Season 1 adaptation is good Season 2 adaptation was trash Like they rewrote the story entirely in season 2, not even showing Kanagi which was one of the most important characters

it was basically a cashgrab for the studio, they didn't even plan on producing a second season despite teasing it with cameos and even if they didn't have to stick to the game's finale, 3/4 of the original arc was misused and some characters were left out

I dunno man. True, this is a pretty good scene, but compared to what they did in the final season, it's pretty deserved. I really love Magireco, but it deserves to be hated😔

It obviously has many flaws, but I don't think it deserves to be hated. There were many aspects of the show that were also genuinely really enjoyable

I definitely think it's worth watching! It's obviously not as good as the main series, and there were definitely some parts of it that I didn't like, but overall I still enjoyed it a lot!

Ngl watching it must be pretty confusing for people who have never played the game, plenty of stuff didn’t make it to the TV series. But well, they’re not the target audience anyway.

The anime didn't adapt literally anything except for the stories of Yachio and Sana and mb Rena. Everything else is literally nothing. The story of others? There's no need for it. The stories of the Magius explaining their actions? We'll change them we don't have enough time

作画素晴らしいと思うけど、そもそもまどマギが評価された理由は魔法少女的なバトルでもなければギャルゲーみたいに美少女大量に登場させることでもなかったので、マギレコはやっぱり私からするとちょっと邪道です。

Personally I just don’t like how they butcher certain parts of game’s story just to fit this “new” character into the anime and cut stories from other characters. But I still enjoyed the show and don’t hate it.

The animation is good. It’s the (anime) story I take issue with.
