Have you noticed parking spots are shrinking everywhere 🤏 My Doctor’s office lot feels built for golf carts—spots are super narrow AND shallow. They’re cramming in as many as possible. If a Ram or F-150 or long SUV parks next to you, good luck. I’ve almost had my bumper scraped watching someone wrestle their monster truck out of a spot clearly not made for it. So - are ya changing how you park now? Pulling all the way back? Hunting for pull-through spots? Parking way out in BFE to avoid the paint scratch zone? Or am I just weird?! 😅

Day 33 of vibe coding a game+engine using Cursor So I approached character animation from a different perspective this time. Instead of 3D -> 2D I went for native 2D via image to video method. This gives us much richer animations that the limited ones we get with 3D! Eliza is really cute with these! The downside is the time it takes to get them all done, even with Cursor skills/automation. Which ones did you like more? Check the previous posts for the 3D ones!

A single 2D image → a 110,745-triangle 3D monster with 27 animations, running live in the browser. This is the Abyss Monster, built with img2threejs: The workflow: Image → 3D Reconstruction → Reference GLB + Specs → Rig → Animation Loops → VFX → Interactive Three.js 🔥 Inside this demo: 1/ 110,745 triangles reconstructed from the reference image 2/ 27 animation clips - Spin Flurry, Leap & Stomp, Charge, Collapse & more 3/ Reference-driven rig & animation workflow 4/ Dynamic lighting 5/ Real-time floating ember VFX 6/ Interactive WebGL character What I find most interesting is the workflow itself. The character and scene are built through a multi-prompt workflow, using visual references, GLB specs and animation loops to progressively construct the Three.js experience. Then, for the VFX, I used a single focused prompt to create the floating ember effect and integrate it into the scene. The final result is Three.js + TypeScript code - turning a visual reference into a programmable, interactive web experience. I’ll share the VFX prompt in the comments. 👇 #ThreeJS #WebGL #GameDev #TypeScript #Web3D #img2threejs

THIS CAME OUT WAY TOO GOOD NOT TO TURN INTO A TUTORIAL The whole video was made with Pexo, and the workflow is honestly pretty slick. Instead of endlessly tweaking prompts and hoping for a better result, you can just work through the idea with it conversationally. Then it starts putting the whole thing together: > builds the storyboard first > lets you tweak individual scenes > fixes specific parts without rerendering everything That makes the process feel way less random and much more like actually directing the video. If you’ve been curious about Pexo, the tutorial below walks through the full thing. Watch to the end, then check the replies for the finished video 👇

Made with Element 3D by @fafa_motion #aescripts #aftereffects #element3d I completed the animation for these perfect designs for the Commission | Zenless Zone Zero 2024 at @flatwhitemotion . It was an incredibly memorable experience. I didn’t have much time to think about the logic—I just went with my instincts to complete the animations. I created some rigs to help me quickly finish many of them. It was great to work alongside so many talented people. This is one of my favorite projects from this year. Swipe to check out some bts content❤️ #animation #2d #typography #kinetype #motiondesign #animation2d #motiongraphics #motionlovers #motionaep #damngoodmove #motionmass #motionmood #aftereffects

🪓Did y'all know that the lawsuit filed by Snoop Dogg's cousin ex failed “rapper” RBX against Spotify, accusing Drake of botting, was dismissed over a month ago? Why aren’t the big pages that were running with this story all over X, reporting on its dismissal? Check out the video below⬇️ for a full recap. We gotta give it up for the OVO content creator, they're out here catching fire and bringing the heat.

All the updates brought by Samsung One UI 9 combined may not be as many as what Home Up has delivered this time. The latest version of Home Up 18.0.00.24 has added the ability to adjust the background color of the Edge Panel. This is my “homework” setup, feel free to use it as a reference. By properly adjusting the blur and transparency levels, you can create a more refined and beautiful visual effect for the Edge Panel. Check out my video to see the results.

Here is DLSS5 working on an animation I made in Unreal. It uses the existing geometry, animation, textures and lighting to render. It doesn't make stuff up out of thin air. There is zero generative AI. This is the exact use of AI that people have wanted. As a tool where artists maintain full art direction. Neural rendering makes creating amazing art with real 3D models easier and more accessible. All 3D artists should be excited. Here is another explanation by Daniel Vávra ⚔ Is this a 3D model? I encourage you to create a 3D model or animation sometime and try it out for yourself, it can be fun creating something!

Characters look real, because they are. ❌ 3D modeling ✅ Filming This indie dev: - recorded professional actors - color graded the raw videos - imported them into the engine - sliced them into separate animations 100% Full Motion Video (FMV) I reached out to the dev, and he gave me some behind-the-scenes footage you can see below. Such a smart way to get photorealistic graphics without melting your GPU. Basically a modern version of the trick that was used in the classic Mortal Kombat. I think we'll see this tech in more indie games soon.

WIP from my recent 'BLACKPINK - JUMP' animation I made using my new Artist Pro 19 Gen 2 by XPPen XPPen USA ❤️🙏🏻 Some thoughts on the device: I gotta say, this thing is more than just a pretty 4K screen - it’s a full-on artist’s dream setup. It comes with literally everything you need right out of the box: two styluses, a wireless shortcut remote, changeable nibs, a glove — the whole package. As someone who focuses on animation more than illustration, I was honestly surprised how comfortable and smooth it is to work on. The precision and customization are on point, and it actually adapts to your style, not the other way around. You can literally use this tablet for everything - from illustration to animation, video editing, 3D design and beyond. If you’re thinking of leveling up, you can use my code ‘michaelny5’ for 5% off on the XPPen store! (link in bio) #xppen #blackpink #LISA #art #animation BLACKPINKOFFICIAL LLOUD
